The app is slow and barely awards you any Gift cards.
August 9, 2022

It can take you a whole year, or maybe a year and a half just to win a little $5 or $10 gift card off this inbox Dollars app, which is very sad and slow. On the app all they have is little (0.1cent) offers, that when you click on them all you win is 0.1 cents. So all you win is any where from. 0.1 cents to 5 cents a day. They also have games you can play but still you only win 1cent every time you win.

You have to go for the big offers on the site to win any money towards a gift card. For example; if you subscribe to Hulu or Netflix you get $5 or $10 cash back, but even that takes you a whole 30 days just to get the cash back. But if you don't press on them big offers all you looking at is pennies a day. They don't send me any surveys, which their surveys only pay up to $2.00 per survey on the site telling me that I'm restricted from taking surveys. I don't know why they have me restricted from taking surveys that's why its taking me a whole year to cash out for a little $10 gift card.

I'm connected to other survey websites and it usually only take me a week to win a $5 or $10 gift card. But with inbox Dollars it can take you anywhere from 1 to 2 years just to win a little $5 or $10 dollar gift card.

When you finally do cash out they take anywhere from 2 to 5 days to send you your gift card through email. All you do is follow the directions on the email and you get your gift card instantly. (That's the only fast thing about inbox Dollars, as when they send you your gift card.) As far as winning a gift card I will give them "zero "Stars. I only gave them (1 star) cause they sent my gift card in 2 days. I am not happy that it took me a whole year to win it off the site.

So if you're looking to win a gift card in a hurry you're not going to win anything in a hurry off of this site unless you press on the big offers with some of them offer you cash back towards cashing out for a gift card, but even that could take up to 30 days just to get a little $2 cash back. And you can cash out from anywhere from $10 to $30. It took me 2 years just to cash out for a $30 gift card. And they don't answer your emails either. I only have this app, as a extra way of winning gift cards. But you can be waiting forever a year or two just to cash out.

Tip for consumers:

It could take you up to 6 months or a whole year to win a gift card. While on other apps such as (Mobile Performance Meter) it can only take you three to five days to win a five or $5 card..

Customer service on the InboxDollars app it's very slow and they do not answer your questions

Site Wants Government I.D.
March 17, 2022

My cell phone number changed - same phone, but with new number.

They responded that I needed to send them a copy of a government i.d. to confirm who I am before they will change my cell phone number on their site. As long as the cell number remains unchanged I can no longer participate in some certain activities including cashing out earnings.

Under no circumstances will they be getting a copy of my government i.d. because what they are claiming makes no logical sense.

They previously confirmed my phone by sending a verification number to my phone as part of the signup process. They also randomly have you reconfirm your phone such when you seek a payout, print coupons, or confirm a message within. All this does is confirm that the person using their website on a desktop has access to the phone being sent the verification number. It does not prove that the name you've given them is actually your real name since the cell phone does not share information about unlisted numbers with them. At best they can confirm that the phone's location is near the home address entered as part of their site's registration, assuming the phone's geolocation is turned on.

Yet to change your email address all you need to do is send them a message with at least of the following details.

"For our team to change your email address, please provide 3 of the following items on your account."

Date of Birth
Full Name
Mailing Address
Security Answer

The first three are publicly available. That means that anyone wanting to steal your accumulated earnings can simply change the email address with three easily obtain details and have your funds transferred to another PayPal account using that new email address.

Someone wanting to steal a user's accumulated earnings is not required to provide a copy of government i.d., but someone simply wanting to change their cell phone number, with the money going to the same PayPal email address, is required to provide a i.d.

I've earned and cashed out over $200 and as thanks they treat me like a criminal.

Do not accumulate any large earnings - cash earnings out as quickly as possible so they can't scam you. Fortunately they only stolen $11.

I abandoned the previous Inbox account using the old number and set up a new account using the new number. After accumulating over $12 in the new account they suddenly stop sending verification codes to your phone and then claim the only way to fix it is to send them a license. No, the only way to fix it is to send an actual verification number to my phone as you've done multiple times before.

This company is a scammer!

They have just earned themselves a complaint with attorney general of my state and the state they are located in as well as the FTC.

Tip for consumers:

Do not accumulate large amounts - cash out frequently to avoid being ripped off.

Do not use this app as all as once you get close cashing out they will suddenly stop sending verification codes to your phone and then claim they need your government i.d.

A Classic for Those Survey Veteran/Junkies!
October 28, 2021

I've always really enjoyed the inbox dollars website ever since I first became a member, as well as the app that they later graduated too, having left the beginning desktop website, a thing that's a thing of the past! I enjoyed inboxdollars so much because it was the very first survey site that I had ever visited, and been able to have not only the layout of things make sense to me, along with the way that the site/app worked, but I am very ecstatic to tell everyone, InboxDollars is also the very first site that I was able to actually maintain my patience while collecting enough funds by completing the different tasks! It should really tell everyone how good of a survey site InboxDollars must be just by me sharing just that small detail with all of you! Now that I'm going to go ahead and also fill all of you in on the fact that I tried almost every survey site that's out there. If it pops up in a Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. search engine's results, then I have DEFINITELY tried it and QUIT IT! There are only 3-4 survey sites that I actually even participate with and with InboxDollars being one of them, when you consider the results on only the Google search engine alone when trying to search for various types of survey sites, their list alone ism mesmerizing! Yet alone if you throw in the results from other search engine's results, the app suggestions that pop up after you've searched for and downloaded one of the survey apps, or just the random bull$#*! ones that won't even be legitimate, but yet so many people and up wasting their time on those ones most often because they have the most spam type advertisements, but that's because of people sucking at life the way that people tend too do sometimes, by going on and making up a whole entire survey that takes you over an hour to complete it and then just as you're about to get to the end, it asks you to subscribe or to buy something in order to be eligible to receive your reward? When in all actuality, even if you were to pay the subscription pricing or to purchase 1 of something out of the dozens of advertised products, you would never actually receive the prize or the incentive that was offered to you at the beginning of that survey! I've learned that to avoid the bull$#*! advertisements bombarding you at the very end of a survey making you angry that you ever wasted your time filling out the same questions over&over again! To avoid having to endure that type of a fate, there's one sure fire way that I've learned is always a certain way of knowing whether or not a survey is legitimate or not-and that is, IF THE REWARD SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEN IT USUALLY IS!

Tip for consumers:

Don't forget to complete your Answer & Earn! There's a new one added every single day!!

InboxDollars isn't about buying products, it's all about reviewing those products that most of the other sites are selling!

Not very honest in your advertising...
September 19, 2021

So, to be completely honest and nothing else but my pure opinion of my own experience, I feel like this is a fun page but definitely lacks the courage to tell the truth in it's advertising department. I had been down on my luck with my finances after being sick with covid and hospitalized over a month. While in there, I decided I would try and do something from my phone to at least get a few dollars a day to the ones caring for my children. I spent days and days researching the best, top of the list surveys. Every site I went to had this one at the top end. Saying it was one of the best and most money making app and fastest, instant payout! So I went ahead and signed up and got started and explored the site and got to work. While there is plenty of options on earning potential, surveys, polls, daily coupons and things of that nature, I will admit. But you don't and won't earn anything over 50 cent most of the time unless you snag a survey for $1.50 that's 45 minutes long and you're usually disqualified after the first 6 questions or when you're the very last of a group. I finally just figured that's the way stuff was going to be, so I worked even harder to get my $15. Small to some but a bunch when you have mouths to feed. So I decided not to hold it against anything with nothing to compare it to. The first payout took roughly 2 to almost 3 weeks to receive. So I figured ''ok, but I really needed this money that I was just being aggravating and it'll come any day. 3 weeks went by and finally I was able to receive my payout. I was then told that after the first payout, and everything was OK with my PayPal that I would be eligible for the quick $10 payout instead of having to wait. So naturally, that won me back! Well cashed out another the other day, and low and behold, it's been 4 days now and still nothing. My PayPal has no problems, is verified like it's supposed to and yet here we are again at square one. If you're going to keep and hold people's money for days before paying them their earnings, just say that in the advertisements. Quit saying you have the quickest and most instant payouts when clearly it's not. It should be something as simple as you hitting a button and that sends to my payout method right then. So to say I'm happy about the hours I've spent with this site and actually enjoyed my rewards for my time, I can't and won't. It's sad that you make so much money off of people doing these things and using cash as an incentive yet can't just get my money where it needs to go in a timely manner. Advertise that you won't pay someone until 4 or 7 days later so people don't sit on your site for hours doing things for cash to put food on their tables just to turn around and feel like it wasn't worth it and that you don't value your customers who make you the money. But this is my thoughts. Some may be ok with waiting days but I really depended on that at the time. It surely wasn't something I wanted to sit and do all day long. But it was going to help regardless. After this payout, I'm probably going to cancel my account. There are a lot of other sites who say they are instant and quick with their payouts and actually mean it.

Legit app
September 7, 2021

This app is definitely legit and I posted proof but there are some things that should be considered. For e.g. having surveys that aren't always going to say I don't qualify but ONLY after making me answer dozens of questions & wasting my time. Also shouldn't make redeeming winnings through PayPal impossible. No other apps require the strange things this app does so I've never been able to get cash even though I'm a verified PayPal user with linked bank account. The scratch off section is super annoying because even after filling the bar to have a chance at a higher winning, I still haven't seen anything past. 10 cents in the entire time I have played. I had to literally be on my phone for weeks at a time and ALL DAY in order to get that total of 100$. There just seems to be too many hoops to jump through. I'm a disabled woman that can't work so I'm trying my hardest to be able to have all my needs because 529$ monthly from ssdi goes straight to my rent so I get left going crazy the rest of the month trying to make a miracle happen. I've given myself migraines from being on the phone so many hours daily just to get to 50 bucks at some point. Trust me I'm grateful and hey it is free but you have to be really careful because many offers say free but then you click on it and see that you have to make in app purchases which is absurd. Some of us use apps like these because we truly are having a rough financial situation. So I Give 4 stars only because I do genuinely believe the survey section has surveys too long for small incentives and/or the individual trying to do a survey never qualifies but only finds out after a series of answered questioned that lead to a message in the end stating "Sorry you don't qualify... try another survey." You try another survey then same thing. I promise you that the only real way to make something on here is by damn near living on the app lol. Yeah that's pretty sad for me but I'm trying to scrape crumbs together to survive. Overall I'm still going to recommend it and hope they consider making some positive changes and maybe increasing incentives for surveys OR decreasing the time period from 15, sometimes 120 mins to maybe 5 minute surveys. You will see more people participate and even more so if the incentive seems worth it and not have set hiiiiiiigh goals on it. Imagine reaching 169 levels on a 170 level goal mark and realizing u wasted 2 weeks playing a game in order to win and then get not even 5 bucks for the effort But again this is legit and I have posted proof. I don't have a real life lol so I make this by spending a whole lot of time on whatever I qualify for.

Tip for consumers:

If you want to make real Money, the free offers is your best option
