The main tapes I wanted to be digitized were not - because I took the video of my son playing at a university and I was told that they were copyrighted. So what I really wanted - didn't happen!
Hi Jill, Thank you for your feedback. The videotapes we received had sporting events that were recorded from TV. They were not personal recordings. By law, iMemories is not able to digitize copyrighted media such as Hollywood movies, television shows, sporting events and news broadcasts without a copyright release. We would need a release from the TV stations ABC, ESPN, Channel 12 in order to upload the videos to your account. I dumped a load of media in differeent formats into their secure box they sent me, and basically asked iMemories to deal with it as I was busy with other projects; they were amazing and just took the box of memories and digitized all they could, and the outcome --- well, i could not be more thrilled with their work quality and speed of execution. As I live in the area, I dropped my videos off in person. I was told that when I placed my actual order, I would have the option to skip shipping and save the $17 FedEx fee, but that was not the case.

Since we process orders for all of North America and most of Canada, customers do need to contact us when they receive the email quote to change the order from shipping to local pick up. We can certainly refund the shipping charges for you. You will see the refund in 3-5 business days.
