I sent about 10 tapes. I had already converted several of them so I could use them as a test. I watched the converted videos and several had been converted but no tracking had been adjusted so they were terrible. I contacted them and informed them of the issue and they corrected the problem conversions. I love their online capabilities and will be sending more their way. Update: sent a second set and again, they were wonderful.
I rarely ever write reviews but I was so pleased with the iMemories services. They made this process so easy by shipping a box to me to ensure my vhs tapes got transported safely. I love that I was kept updated on where my order was in the process because it was nerve wrecking to ship the only copies my family had of our childhood videos. As soon as my tapes were converted and uploaded they sent me an email and I was able to easily view them all from my phone and iPad. It also made it easy for my siblings to all get to view them as well. The quality was great and I'm so happy I trusted the care of my memories to this company.
Watching my sons videos digitally is so much easier than connecting our old camcorder to our TV.
The customer service is great! Very quick to respond. I had to ask for them to look at a couple of tapes both times on both of my orders for some static lines. I am not sure why it wasn't caught before it was sent back to me but they did get them cleaned up for me. With that said, I will continue to use their services.
Overall it's a good experience but paying for memories I can't see my only issue is two tapes could have been combined and were not because they had nothing on it. This is expensive and I felt disappointed that this happened but overall the experience was great and I am appreciative for what was recorded. Thank you

I sent In several old 8mm movies. The process was simple enough with using the mailing box that I ordered from them. The cost is a little more than I would like because I have a lot of super 8 movies that I would also like to get digitized.
I apprehensively sent the only videos I had of my father, who died last year, to imemories. I decided to move forward as their process seemed reasonable and trackable. 22 digital videos later not only can i see my father but my mother and children.

I thought the product and the price was awesome. I have never been able to view these videos except to look at them through the movie camera for over 25 years. I was a little disappointed that two of the tapes that had broken came back marked CNR. I was under the impression, from your website, that you could repair broken film? Are you aware of any services that do repair them? I have referred many people to your services. Thanks for the awesome work. If you are ever able to repair broken film, please let me know. My slides were all uploaded and in order but I thought I would have 5 separate bunches of slides but they were combined so had to look at the individual pictures and try to match them with the descriptions. This was difficult because some of the slides were of Europe and I've never been there.
Just saying it would have been easier if the slides were scanned and grouped in the same manner as they were sent in.
By the way, I sent the slides in 4 carousels and 1 green rectangular box.
I rec'd. 3 carousels back (with the slides in the same condition as when they were sent) but am still waiting for the return of the last carousel and green box.
Experience was good. Some videos were hard to watch because of the jumpiness but I am aware that is out of your control with the quality. I did enjoy the ones that are good and will be sending more.
I'm very surprised at the recurring monthly charges for this service. That was not made clear up front, and frankly, I'm upset about it. Will not be recommending your company.
