Here I usually look up information on actors and characters about movies and TV shows. It list almost all the actors that played as the characters, plus descriptions about a movie or show. Also, they have actor pages a well. That's about it.

IMDB is great for entertainment industry related information on people, companies and projects. However I've noticed that people have been manipulating the site more and more lately. First started with the Starmeter. The Starmeter is IMDB's popularity contest. A great tool if some people didn't drive traffic to it to pump up their start power to look important. Another thing is the wrong use of work credits by stating that sites like Youtube and Vimeo are the distribution outlet for a project that is not relevant to the industry. IMDB needs better enforcement of this issue so people can't claim credits overnight that others work years to get.

This site is one of the best sites ever. If ever I am stuck on figuring on which movie an actor was in or when, this site normally has the answer. It is such a great tool and I visit it often and definitely refer people it, when they need to find an answer on a celebrity as well.

It's not perfect and most bios and several movies are missing a ton of info but it's main usage is to check who played what character, least that's what I use it for. So as long as the crew list is updated, I'm happy. Don't believe it has a very big staff, think it's mostly run like Wikipedia, so you get what you pay for.

An amazing site. I love everything about it. The episode guides, the trailers, and most of all the upcoming movie section is great. Gives you an exact date and the spoiler alerts are limited.
For the fan of movies, this is probably the best site on the internet. Reviews are fair and are not influenced by advertisements and other elements that can tilt a review towards a particular movie. Lots and lots of info on this site. Is has a free version and a pro version. Pro version obviously has more features. Well worth the membership fee.
Def the best site for getting all kinds of really good info about movies and actors. I also really like how you can just like look up an actor or actress, see EVERYTHING that they have starred in, and really get a good idea of their history and roles and stuff. It's just a lot of information available, plus good recommendations and ratings. Working my thru the top 100 too!
