The company enjoys a solid reputation as a comprehensive resource for movie and TV information, appreciated for its extensive library, user-friendly interface, and helpful features like trailers and ratings. However, significant concerns have emerged regarding transparency in billing practices and review moderation, with customers expressing frustration over unauthorized charges and the censorship of critical reviews. This has led to a perception of mistrust among users, overshadowing the platform's strengths. Overall, while the service is valued for its content, its customer service approach requires improvement to enhance transparency and foster trust.

IMDb is indispensable, there's no question about it, but it's not very complete. Adding or correcting information can be a real bother, so I've stopped trying. Nonetheless, I get the largest amount of traffic to my film blog from IMDb, so it's been a personal help to me. And, yes, it's kind of a mess.
I love IMDB because I get to rate films and see what others think on the films I like. I think that they have a lot of cool info like what the actors are in the process of doing, quotes, weird trivia. I do LOVE the site because I LOVE movies, but there are some issues like the set up needs to be streamlined. The front page of the films just looks like a mess. A designer needs to come in and design them to be easier. I use Yahoo movies to look at films sometimes and their information (not as extensive) is easy to read. Who the director is, the actors, when it was made... how long the film is. Simple to spot. Also the forum is archaic. It needs a better look.
They have all the right ingredients, they just don't have the look down. When they get that down they'll be far too awesome to defeat... ever. Almost like Google.

Or you just wana check out the hottie in the latest film
This is the website for you
PURE GOLD
I have yet to find a website to replace this ill-designed resource for films. It's the first thing that I think to go to when I want to find out who was in what, or what film is that again? There's no easy way to cross-reference actors so winning that Kevin Bacon game takes more work than it should. Additionally, everything about the appearance and organization of IMDB is wrong. There is nothing else that I find useful about it, except that once I almost was able to obtain "MTV's 25 lamest" episode from another user. However that fell through and I continue my life-long search.
The single best database on movies - Ever want to win that Kevin Bacon game where you get from one random actor to Kevin Bacon by naming movies that connect various other actors? The Internet Movie Database is the best place to study up for that one. You can search any person who has ever worked on any movie, see what other movies they've been in, look at some pictures, watch some trailers, read some bios, etc. Any data point you might want, you can get it here. A great place to go if you ever need to figure out where you have seen a certain actor before...
