The 1rst foundation I received was a little dark for my skin tone. When I asked to exchange the product they made my experience awesome! I was sent a new foundation to try and the color was perfect! The foundation feels great on my skin, as if bare! Looks amazing and has full coverage! I ordered the matte lipstick and I am so excited for it to arrive!
Il Makiage uses Pitney Bowes who obviously is rough on handling their packages and somehow sent me messed up packaging coved with dark sticky smelly substance that reminded me of car oil or wood stain. Messed up my products and had to send back. However Il Makiage was great about the issue. Just don't like Pitney Bowes :(

I was late in returning a few products because of an accident and personal injury. Il Makiage made it right by offering me a $25 e-gift card. They also refunded me for the charges on my account due to the late return. Although I did not like the products I tried (I have extremely sensitive skin), I was happy to find out that I could use the gift to purchase a blending sponge. While the products I received were good quality, I didn't know I had "agreed to" a subscription until I was charged for and received another box of products. I wrote their customer service and asked for a refund and to be removed from the "auto-replenish" program.

I responded that, no, I didn't agree to a subscription and I wanted a refund. That's when the crickets started--I've not heard back. I even messaged them on Facebook. No response.
They also sent a link to where I could find the subscription but I was sent to a page where I could choose the timing for receiving my products. I couldn't find a link to CANCEL.
Avoid this company unless you want to get locked in to something you didn't agree to.
Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
