I hava a "promo code" to enter but there is not a section for me to enter it. This is false advertising. I only placed an order because of the promo code I have. I am unable to use it. The eye pencil didn't stay on for the day. I was disappointed. It was the LONG-WEAR EYE PENCIL - INTENSE PIGMENT WATERPROOF, which I used on my water line but it smudged off halfway through the day.
I've been purchasing from Il Makiage for about a year and overall they have good customer service. I have participated in a product trial and they often send gift cards. I have set up products on subscription because they have quality products that work. I recommend them often.

I've been using the Il Makiage products for several years now and I will never go back to department store cosmetics for good reasons-- the color, the quality, and the convenience of Il Makiage all exceed what I could get elsewhere. However, the shopping experience on the Il Makiage website is confusing, frustrating, and not customer friendly. First, their business is built on a subscription model (one of the benefits, honestly; set it and forget it and products show up on your doorstep!). But the site seems almost purposefully difficult when you want to try a new product and purchase it outside of your typical auto-renewal window. Hypothetically, I don't know if I want to add a new product to an auto shipment (which may not be scheduled to come for months, due to how often I go through product), it should be easier to find the new product (it's not, the menu gets hidden from your account management page), and then easier to add it to a purchase cart. As to the auto renewal program itself, this is another area that could use improvement. I would like to set up my auto renewal for every three or four months, not every 1-2 as it is normally set. But to do that, I have to log in (not with a password, but with an emailed link-- another pain point), and then push out the delivery by a certain number of weeks. The overall lack of control the customer has with regard to shipments, and account management almost makes it seem like the site was built to purposefully be confusing and unhelpful to the customer. My overall feeling and takeaway is that if the products weren't as good as they are, the shopping experience would not be worth it. My only hope is that the company will seek to make improvements that benefit the loyal customers who believe in the product.

I placed an order for two items that are way out of my range and pricey I had a $20 gift certificate so that's what initially brought me to the site to buy these items but then when I saw you can subscribe and they'll be a significant discount I wanted to do that And that would've saved me the $20 gift card money plus the discount for the subscription which I would've kept up upon checking out it wouldn't allow for them. Both one is a subscription discount. The other is a gift card. You shouldn't have to choose between them both they should both be applicable. This was disappointing as I'm on disability, which is a fixed income and I like your products, but they are a bit out of my range which is a shame and occasional sale or special price for the people who's subscribed to you get your emails and text would be really nice if your products didn't work so well I wouldn't of got them this time. I'm hoping I can find a way to afford them in the future. They are great products and I tell everybody about them. It's not fun when you wanna keep a beauty routine on a budget. I'm only 50 and on disability, but I still have a significant beauty routine and really try to keep myself up. I'll still keep looking. I love your products. Hopefully they go on sale or even a smaller size or something more affordable would be great for those of us that can't spend a ton but want good products thank you for listening. I love the wrinkle redo. That's my favorite and I also have some of your make up. It would also be nice if you switch up the free gift because I have so many of the icon mascara that I get every time I order it'd be nice to get something different or a choice once in a while
I recently attempted to make a purchase, but at checkout, an additional promotion was automatically applied without clear indication. The way it was presented made it easy to accidentally select it, and once added, there was no option to cancel or remove it. This lack of transparency and control over my purchase was frustrating and misleading.
I used power rewind three times and loved it. The next time the pump didn't work on the bottle. It seems locked and now I can't even get the product out. I feel as a good customer they should replace it. So far just explained how it should work.
1. I accidentally stared a subscription for a product. It delivered and also was the wrong shade (both issues were my fault.). Rep not only refunded me, stopped the subscription, told me to keep the other shade, and sent my correct shade to me. Wow.
2. The primer glides on, feels oily at first but dried smooth. Once I started using it, once I was out I realized how dry it felt to only use foundation without the primer.
3. The exfoliator easily spreads, easily wipes off, the beads work well, and the skin is noticeably softer after rinsing. A pea-sized drop really spreads for the whole face.
I not also use the foundations (woke up like this) and After Party, the black liquid eyeliner and pencil (mostly free gifts), some kind of lip tint that is great, eyeliner. I've got 1 or 2 different serums... All of the products are great!
I'm on my second purchase and second product from il Makiage. So far my purchase experience has been great. I'm enjoying the product I use now and look forward to the next one.
I have decided to jump in and try all the products. However, I feel that after you spend a certain amount, it would be nice to get the makeup brush. Before I sign up for an auto ship, I want to make sure I love all the products first.
I am excited and hope they are as good as I am reading about.
Also I received several offers to get a free item but never could go back and make anything in my order that a free full size item. If you are able to do, that would be great and then credit that amount.

Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!
