As a Career Technology teacher, my mission is to prepare my students for college and career. Many of my junior and senior students have expressed an interest in working in the sports arena and I have found that iHire/Work In Sports Sports Career Game Plan to be an outstanding program to help them make the most of their college career. It helps them develop the necessary skills and relevant experience that will assist in rising above the crowd of applicants when they enter the job force. In fact, those same skills and experience can be applied to almost any career the students pick. IHire has also produced a job market-neutral version. It is why I highly recommend it to all my seniors and their parents as well as my network of college professors. The cost is nominal, even for a high school senior and the course is online and can be taken at their own pace. There are so many online sites that allow you to search and apply for jobs for free. The company posting the job should be paying to post, not the job seeker.
