I was able to install the new battery for my iPhone 4s in minutes. Tools work great. Magnetized screwdriver was a big help. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Didn't even need to watch a video!
Shipped fast, quality product and packaging with eco-conscious packaging. Told are great quality. Hady screen replaced and calibrate fingerprint within 1 hour.
IFixIt is great. Have an old iPhone 5 that I am re-purposing as an in car media player (no longer used for phone calls). The old unit needed a new battery (old one got swollen) and I always wanted to peer into an iPhone to see what made the magic tick. Since the price was so low for a new battery ($24.99) plus shipping and tax, I decided to simply say, "game on". The iFixIt kit came within a few days and the kit was complete. Add that to the videos on YouTube to guide you step by step, the adventure was well worth it. I did it end to end in under 20 minutes. The iPhone 5 is once again working like usual and the battery holds a charge. It was really interesting to do this and was amazed by what make the little device work. Absolutely no issues and the tools to open the case are included and worked flawlessly ready for another rebuild should the need arise.
In depth, easy to follow tutorial's to help you fix your computer or iPhone. Fast delivery of products. Quick response to questions. Products work as expected. IFixit knocks it out of the park for the customer.
I ordered a new phone battery two weeks ago and it still hasn't come yet. So here I am with a dead phone and unable to repair it. They should be more transparent about the actual shipping time if it is going to take more than two weeks to ship me an item so I know to go somewhere else to begin with. They mentioned at checkout that when I receive two day shipping, it may take longer for some batteries. I was told it would be two weeks longer for mine. I contacted customer service and they offered a refund or to ship a new one, however as a customer I should have been aware at the beginning of the purchase that I would be still waiting after two weeks with tracking information that says it left Wisconsin one week ago and is currently just "in transit" with no information as to where it actually is. It may be ifixit's fault or it may not, but I should know at the time of purchase.
My iPhone 6 headphone jack wasn't working properly, so I decided to purchase the replacement part from iFixit, which also included a new lightning port, speaker and a few new connectors for other components.
I followed the instructions correctly, however, the speaker stopped working, and the vibrator would work only occasionally (original vibrator that came with the phone, but new connector). The whole phone would get very hot just from being switched on, and also had poorer battery life. Wifi would also drop in and out, probably because of the new cable/ connector for the antenna. None of these issues were occurring before I used the replacement part. I ended up having to go to a repair shop to get a full unit replacement done. See photo for the replacement part.
This is one of the rare online businesses I've purchased from that feels like an illegitimate, scam of a company.
I received a computer battery that was completely bent up and had obviously been used and damaged. The shipping box and packaging box were in perfect condition-- it was not damaged in shipping. There was no phone number to contact someone right away so I had to email. It took them 3 days to respond. I sent them photos of the damaged battery. They replied that I needed to send them a long list of detailed photos of everything from the packaging, product box, product accessories, etc. So-- more work for me when I've already clearly sent them the evidence of the damage and had to take my computer to a local repair shop to have it fixed because I needed it to work asap. Then, the real kicker was that they told me I was not eligible for a refund. WHAT? They claimed that they would have to send me a replacement and no refund. What a scam! So they send you damaged and unusable goods, don't have a customer service phone number, take 3 days to respond to emails, so you're forced to find a battery elsewhere and then tell you they won't refund you.
Do NOT purchase from this scam of a company.
I got a new screen for my iPhone and followed the instructions provided on the website. The whole job took about 30 minutes and was very simple. Upon completion the screen worked as expected and the new screen even came with a new earpiece speaker, which was great because my old one had water damage and I had to use speaker phone. The tool kit was high quality compared to Amazon toolkit. My only complaint was that it took 7 days to get my order.
I repair a lot of cell phones and laptops. The only site I use for tutorials is ifixit.com. They have thousands of guides. You can but parts or tools also. All around the best repair site for any electronic.
Replaced a battery on my iPhone 6 2 months ago and this thing hardly goes 3 hours of the day without dieing. It will also shut my phone off at around 15% battery without using the ramping battery, very disappointed.
Our tech shop has used ifixit for a long time now and are extremely happy with the quality of their products and the quality of their service. Hands down the best site for guides and parts! Extremely trustworthy, we have never had late shipments or bad parts sent to us.
I live a on small budget, and wanted to upgrade my old PC. Found some other place, but Ifixit had the lowest and the best support. Letting me now it would work and what i would get for upgrading my PC and how to do the work myself.
Will shop again and you should to. A++

Great and fast service, thank you! The guides were super helpful and easy to follow, we timed it badly and the one for Catalina wasn't out yet and we had to fill in the gaps, but it wasn't difficult at all. I've never replaced a part on my own computer before and the tools included plus the guides made it way easier than I'd ever imagined.
Many students such as myself are forced into school projects working for iFixit to make guides to fix electronics. We are sent specific products and told to make guides for things like replacing the motherboard or screen.
The thing is, for most of the devices we don't actually test to see if the product works after we "fix it". For the item I was forced to do, I didn't even have the cord to plug in the electronic after replacing the motherboard. For all I know the device doesn't even turn on now. Of course that guide is now on the site, as are many other like it.
I have a IPhone 5s, and recently the battery started to go. Didn't want to buy new phone or pay Apple's price to get a new battery. iFixit.com solved my problem! New battery shipped to me with fixer kit for under $35. Their site has great tutorials to walk you through the process also. I'm starting to look at some of my older tech with a new possibility!
WATCH OUT! IFixit sent me the wrong pixel 5a screen replacement (see pics, the one in red, with bezels). I provided them the correct part information and asked them to verify this by simply seeing the right part pictures on eBay, or on Amazon. They not only refused to verify this, but insisted they were right. And, I had to pay the shipping cost (both ways) because of their mistake and poor customer service.
Do not expect iFixit to take FULL responsibility if they mess up an order. I ordered a SSD and they sent me an optical drive instead. They were perfectly helpful with getting me a replacement part, but when I ordered the original part I specifically ordered 2-day shipping. By the time I received the actual part it many many days later. I requested a partial refund for the extra shipping, since I did not receive the part in the time that I paid for. They declined to refund me. In the future I will try to buy parts from a company whose policies are actually respectful of their customers.
Their adhesive remover somehow evaporated and melted my keyboard (my laptop was off the whole time) and screwed up my trackpad, and the best part they are blaming "my installation"! Would not recommend even to an enemy! Or on second thought I would definitely recommend it to an enemy.
Cracked the glass on my iPad 4. Ifixit not only has the best repair guides on the web, but also had the replacement part (including required tools for removing broken part). My only problem with the website is shipping charges were high in my opinion (added 25% for the cheapest option).
Our friends daughter shattered the screen of her hand-me-down iPhone 6s. I ordered the part, walked through the clearly laid out steps, and in less than an hour had her screen replaced. Was able to save them some money and learned something in the process!
Answer: Their instructions cover each step in clear detail. All include photos and nearly all have video as well. Highly recommended!
Answer: Telephone number is (866) 613-4948.
