It's difficult to say anything about my experience here because I'm so new to the site. I mean everything seems to work well and be user friendly but I'm just scratching the surface
I wasted over 2 hours repeating the verification steps whereby I would upload photos of my drivers licence then pose in font of my phone for a visual recognition. Every time it failed at a different point. Finally it seemed to accept my documents only to tell me that it could not use my phone to verify my identity. Because I only have one phone I ended up doing a video call with a real person. She was incredibly helpful and patient and I was able to complete the verification without any issues.
I'm pretty easy to get signed up with it I think I had a hard time with Windsor my pictures getting a picture taken I got that don't know I ain't got that done yet I'm still trying to get that done and somethings wrong I don't know what your side my side but it's not working right
I was somehow to long of a process and wasn't sure it was authentic until I did some research ones I was sure It was the new process.
It was a night mare. I had to got on web to see how to open up my photo option on my phone so anyone can recive my pictures. When I looked you guys do not have an app for that option of doing it manully.
Signed up and got my veteran discount without any headache...which never happens.

The identification process was very good just getting all the documentation needed to get through the ID.Me process. The main problem I've ran into was how to obtain the documents I was needing along with how to print and/or save. System needs more operation instructions without having to call to order copies sent via mail.
The IRS helped me get my identity back as soon as possible. I also got spiritual and mental counseling as well as a full list of benefits to help me continue my education and help to take care of my family. I commend them for their special acts of service!
Terrible customer service/ support. I opened my account on July 3rd 2023. On July 25th I found out that my account is temporarily suspended when I tried to login in. I emailed support. On August 7 I received an email from support saying my account would remain suspended due to suspicious activity. I emailed support back and appealed the decision. I use the ID.me wallet app on my iPhone to log in. I have two factor authentication turned on. I have and would never share my login information with anyone. Today is August 12 2023 and I have yet to hear back from iD.me support. I am being denied access to my confidential and personal information. Not at all pleased and very frustrated with ID.me.
Was not easy, 4 hours in front of my computer, because prompts were not clear at all totally not user friendly very disappointed I'm relying on this to get my unemployment check I'm 2 days into it. It sucks very depressing.

When attempting to use this site, I had to use a physical computer. When on a cell phone it would NOT allow me to ENTER my DOB. It continuously highlighted my info in RED and said my FORMAT was incorrect.
After reading the simple directions and following the instructions and diagrams to go by it was simple for someone of my age which is 71 to complete the steps to set up my account without leaving my husband or home. Thank you so much.
