I was able yesterday to establish a Idme login. Couldn't talked with anyone who could assist me in accessing the verification process. Today with the patient assistance of a telephone responder with getting me to the verification process. I am unsure if I can replicate the verification process. But if I could I do not know how to access the account so that I could produce W2.
Website was not easy to use through the NYS DOL, nor was it easy to upload a selfie. No support available by phone. At least with the NJ DOL I got a support option by email. I didn't even need the instructions by the time I received them, NJ DOL figured it out. These state agencies are also new at this and are very difficult to contact, nor do they know the procedures for signing up.

They don't communicate, it isn't streamlined, the coordination between ID.me, the IRS, and EFTPS is beyond ridiculous. I lost access to EFTPS for 11 days and got ZERO help from anyone. I submitted tickets.
