Took a little longer than expected due to technical difficulties
The process upset me at first because I already had an account for the IRS and was forced to change to ID.me. But once I started the process, it was super easy and only took like 5 minutes! It gave me an extra sense of security in this day and age. I am super happy about this new process!

Getting ID checks can sometimes be a hassle. ID.me was seamless from start to finish. Made it easy to know what documents to upload, make slight changes, and good information given as to specific requirements necessary to complete the process with the online agent. 10/10
Spent over 1.5 hrs dealing with going between help on the phone, on hold for a long time then was told had to use ID.me to do what was needed. Spent another 45 minutes plus putting in the information for change of bank accounts, dealing with pain in the $#*! security verifications switching from phone to email and back. Then finally getting the information inputed and saying it was approved to a couple minutes later saying it was rejected. A complete waste of time. Finally, was able to reach the Reno Travel department who said I had to come down and drive the 120 miles round trip to fill out a piece of $#*!ing paper to do it manually. Drove the distance with voided check and the person at window couldn't tell me what numbers were routing and which were account. After 15 minutes of dealing with ignorance, frustration and going to the same window that years ago we just handed in our paperwork and were paid, I spoke to several others in my same situation. We all were just blown away at how incompetent, incoherent, waste of time and money to travel to the place where I had to spend 45 dollars of gas money just so I could get my account changed. You guys are dumb as boots to think your new system is anything but a complete waste of money and time to those of us who you think are able to use it. Bureaucracy at its finest.
After filling out all the information, the system said my name was incorrect. Im pretty sure that I know my name. I also feel that this is a surveillance tool. Very frustrating and no human to help me
