It took me several tries to provide the useable documents but once they were accepted, the rest of the verification process went pretty smoothly and the instructions were easy to follow. The follow up emails after each step helped a lot to keep me aware of where we were in the process with the links to get right back to where we were at.
I was completely overwhelmed with my physical situation and new limitations after working 40 years. This was one of the easiest processes I've been through recently and was greatly appreciated.
Terrible site. Does not allow updates nor does it comply with the requirements of the organization it is requesting the verification for. Disappointing.
They make sure that it is you that is applying for this site an not no one else you had to take a picture of your self plus show an ID picture to match your face now that is what I call secure.

It was a Good experience. But it took several times to verify though.
This process was the most comfortable one I've experienced up to date. The interface felt really user friendly. The structure of the process makes it feel less stressful.
The learning curve is long. I suppose if someone needed help with it, I could now speak knowledgeably on the process. It would have help me if I had read over the entire instructions at least 3 times before jumping in. As it is, it's the only game in town for secure payments to the IRS, and it is doable. The agent helping me with the zoom verification process was very patient.
We have ATT as carrier, and we kept getting rejected once we started getting the 6 digit confirm codes; they were not being accepted once they hit our three cell phones; we talked to ATT, finally resolved some issue they have created by receiving ID.me 6 digit pass codes...once they remove the glitch, it was no problem to complete the setup tasks.
