I hope you guys make the ID and emailing the code a lot more friendly to us Veteran living outside of the sates. A lot of vets i know no longer can get in their accounts because they no longer have their state IDs. They do have their VA id and Veteran ID and Social security. Not all vets are computer savy.

I went through all that process of locating my documents, signing on with a password, talking with an agent, and then signing on to ID.me again only to find the same error message several times. I searched the internet for the error code and found "the answer" on YouTube. I tried their suggestions only to find out they didn't improve the situation. Had to call the IRS the next day to get my answers.
