Easy to use

I had to go through the video chat feature since the verification wasn't going through on my phone. It took less than 10 minutes and was super simple and easy.

It took me almost an hour, although if you know how to upload photos you can probably knock off half an hour.
Have your insurance docs and driver's license handy and if you are going to be making a payment have your bank routing and account numbers available. You can make payments by debit or credit card but you'll pay a service fee.
NOTE: The IRS accepts Pay Pal but NOT Apple Pay
2nd NOTE: You'll go through more security checks than you ever have at the airport!

Simple and Fast

Super simple. Documwnts needed provided up front. Once submitting documents, video ID portion tool only a couple minutes wait and a couple of minutes to complete with professional friendly agent.

Not bad!

The process was quite easy! I had a little trouble with them being unable to read the dd214. Once I used an alternet method for identification it was smooth sailing.

Difficult to use
December 22, 2022

It was stressful and took along time for upload & to re-upload correctly. Video clarification with person was easier. Karen kept it in simple terms with video chat of documents. THIS WAS PTSD exacerbater 5-10 AM Finally I am done.

What a great experience

I really like this process I'm so pleased with the outcome I was able to get verified through the system easily the scanning process for the identification was very simple to use and I was very pleased other times I have tried to do things with dealing with the IRS and this is the first time in my life I've ever had an easy simple pain-free experience thank you for your service

Sucks

IDme
E has gotten to me that I no longer want to finish my taxes to the point where I am the
Victim but am treated like I am the criminal,
And don't know how to explain the hoops they put me through., I have been waiting for days hours and into the night, till I am numb.
To hear from a IRS agent was told I would get a call never did tell me when, the time, and that was on the 1rst of Sept so do I sit by my phone waiting for a call well it never came. So no I am not doing another thing I don't care about the refund or if they are going to put me in jail. I am done untill I get a straight up answer from somebody who isn't going to tell me to go to this site now they tell me go to this other site and so on and so on If anybody has been through this you can relate. Horrible right?

Worst company ever
June 2, 2021

This company has been sending me scripted emails since the month of April. This company is supposed to verify you for unemployment which is a government agency, but finds ways not to verify you. I have uploaded the proper documents that were asked and still no help. The wait time is 5 hours and they give you a video to watch knowing that you would never get through to anyone. This company is a scam and a fraud and should not be used for the purposes of a government agency. They go so far is lying and tell you you can leave your browser up and when you click back in you'll be back in the slot that you left off. When you go back to that slots the time has increased back up to 4 hours and 58 minutes. I have even email the owner of this company with no response but I will get a scripted email 2 weeks later telling me a member of their support team is going to contact me at the earliest convenience. I'm just thinking now it's the way for the government agency not to do their job and to put it off on this company. Known it's a li e and Ms Lee their customers on a witch Hunt.

ID.me attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond
