In 2020 near year end, the unemployment services hired this company to provide third party ID services for them. In its infinite wisdom, they didn't think the users may not all be USA residents, my address couldn't pass the system, therefore I lost few thousand dollars. I need my money back.

I was able to log onto the IRS website easily in the past few years, but now am forced to use ID.ME, a random for profit company to log in. They make me do some selfie with my laptop and then complain my room is too bright. Once I pass their invasive test, then they send me to the IRS page with an error. Why are American tax dollars funding this crappy service?
