I would NOT recommend using this site, I provided multiple ids multiple times and would not id me. I've use tax sofware programs and they make easy to id yourself. Not here be ready to battle. Would never use again.

I've heard the horror stories about the process, and it was truly that bad. I was so angry about the whole mess, probably an hour and half wasted going in loops until finally it got finished with the live video. First it said I already had an account with my email, which I had never done, so it must have been partially set up with some other process at some time. I didn't have any password and the password reset is useless because I'm supposed have a password generator or something like that, I have no idea what that is. I'm also supposed to have a special code, which I did not have because I had never set up an account. At some point I managed to make some progress logging in with just my Google account, though I have no idea how. Then they wouldn't accept my phone number I've had for over 10 years, but the number assigned to my cell phone that I never use is okay, so hopefully I never lose that. Then they wouldn't accept the photos I uploaded. The phone kept saying to go back to the other window I had opened. THERE WAS NO OTHER WINDOW OPEN! There was nothing to go back to, so it was a dead end at that point. Then somehow got somewhere on back on my computer. It kept sending me codes over and over and over! What an absolute joke. How much dirty business was done to get the contract to lock everyone out of their IRS account unless they use your ridiculous service? I hate ID Me, and I can see why everyone else does too.
It took 2 hours to get the correct pictures to be accepted. 3 hours later the specific service was temporarily unavailable. Typical incompetent government experience. Absolutely disgusting!
