Honestly, I think more institutions and businesses need to adopt them or similar identification services. I believe ticket sales for concerts/events (Ticketmaster) or restaurant reservations (Tock) could benefit from them. Less bots, less fraud and service gets delivered to real people. The assurance and benefits go both ways.
Some bad guys were trying to get into our accounts and steal our money. I feel better knowing this extra step of security will make our hard earned money more secure. If only the bad guys would use their knowledge for good instead of evil this world would be a much better place.
