Getting set up on ID.me was far easier than my several failed attempts at the others.
I found IDme to be very user unfriendly. My hands shake & I had trouble uploading my photo ID. I had to type my password about 15 times on my smart phone because it kept getting rejeted. Signing up for IDme was a very frustrating experience, but I finally succedeed& all is good now.
The site was easy to navigate and allows you with many options to use for your identification process. The wait times for reply was timely. The video chat to verify your documents was very simple and the agent was very professional, friendly and helpful. I had great experience using the ID.me website.

My wife and obtained an IP PIN. ID.me was a real challenge. It bounces from desktop to smartphone, back and forth multiple times, asking for proof of existence with email addresses, SSNs, phone numbers, driver's licenses, passports and physical addresses over and over and over. After about an hour of this, I was finally directed to the IRS site for the PIN after asking for our banking information (why?). For my wife, she couldn't get verified which required a video session with a live agent. After being verified, she was sent to the IRS website where there was no link to get the IP PIN. It took a web search on "IRS IP PIN" that took her back to ID.me again. After entering the ID.me password, she was finally sent to the appropriate IRS site where there was a link to the IP PIN. We thought we were home free but upon entering the same bank information, ID.me rejected it. We had to skip that section and just get the IP PIN. Then came the reviews, again, over and over with Captchas
