Horrible. User UNFRIENDLY. I want to thank the Internal $#*! Service for making it impossible to get my refund this year. I was expecting a refund, but now I DO NOT expect to receive it. Instead, I expect to be arrested for tax evasion.
The set up of the account was very easy, but the verification process was extremely frustrating. I was able to complete half of the process but was unable to verify that I was alive. The system indicated that I did not have a smart phone. I navigated to the help menu and worked my way through several of their pages that indicated there was a way to video chat to complete this task but could not locate this option in any of their menus. I left their sight and went back to the site that sent me to theirs and again, was unable to complete the task as they put in a help ticket and assured me that I would hear back soon. Still waiting and unable to verify that I am alive.

This is the second time I've created an ID me account to qualify for a veterans discount. The first time I deleted it because they abused the personal information I'm required to provide by sending me Spam e-mail offers (maybe for a mattress or something) almost immediately after sign up. This time, they woke me up twice at 1am with survey requests I never asked for. How hard is ot to add a checkbox on sign up; "Is ot OK of we contact you with special offers or surveys?" I guess just like last time, Ill be requesting deletion of my account as soon as I iuse the discount to make sure they respect my privacy, because clearly they don't care about it enough to respect it while I have an account.

It says error code 6000 and when I called customer service they ask for bank account info. Also Googled error code seems to be common problem but with no real way to fix it.this site is a joke.
