I was able to log into the IRS. Gov website with ID. Me (a requirement) but then was not recognized by ID. Me as the same person when trying to log into the SSA (using ID. Me as a requirement). I even followed a link to SSA from IRS. Gov (after successfully loging into IRS with ID. Me) and ID. Me didn't recognize me even after successfully entering user name, password, and validation code. The use of today's technology should be better than that. It makes it frustrating when State and Government platforms require the use of ID. Me but thier auto generated support advice doesn't work, it's after hours, and you have to wait till the next day on hold for over 70 minutes to hopefully, get the situation fixed.
