I have been working to verify the identity of 25 unemployment claims. Not once has ID.me accepted the documents they requested. Many of these claimants have already verified their identity thru UI so why does ID.me need a video call? I also have three clients waiting on a video chat for over 36 hours. I have clients with recovery codes, and some without. This leads to duplicate ID.me accounts. I have a client who could not provide requested secondary documents, because the pull down tab for secondary listed primary docs, and you have to choose one. But more importantly, if your email address, phone number, uploaded copies of State issued IDs, Social Security cards, birth certificates, medical cards, along with a face scan and a selfie, arent enough to verify who you are, how is a video chat going to help? My biggest complaint with this company is their failure to just ask, at the beginning, for all of this information, instead of leading us to believe your ID can be verified with a state issued ID. When it can not. The whole process strikes me more as a way to collect evidence against fraudsters, then it is to verify who you are, and sadly many Americans benefits are being held up.

I am never one to give reviews but ID Me is probably the worst put together website on the internet. I joined a que for a video call and it said that it would take 2 hours. I waited the 2 hours and then went back to my commputer, it then said 3 hours. I waited yet again and went back to my computer and it said I had to wait over 5 hours I then contacted there customer support and have yet to get a response. If there was an option to give zero out of five stars than I would.

We had to go through the long account creation process where you give tons of private info to setup your account. At the end Id.me was unable to confirm my wife was a teacher because they. Couldnt do that via the. Credit check. I spoke to support. For hours suggesting that I could provide her payslips or a reference at her school but they. Are bend on just using credit info. Which are not meant for that. And probably harvesting a ton from the lengthy signup process.
So it was useless and completely Orwellian that an ID service harvests your data and wouldnt confirm my wife's job are because they at the same time wont trust anything from you because they only trusted the credit check. It was really frustrating and stupid. Stay away for this crappy service.
In. The end I didnt get the discount so I got a lower/cheaper plan instead of getting a morre expensive one with a discount. I deleted the id.me account. So everyone lost here. And I lost a ton of time.

It's ok as a discount site for some benefits, but, I was disappointed with the 2-5% discounts I've seen. Why? Because the local stores will have much better deals. The only benefit was the Apple store (10%) which, I guess, is the only discount you'll see for their product. Samsung has been a waste to shop at and some of the other stores aren't worth looking the time and effort to shop with. Overall, disappointed with the shopping section. For example, a teacher can get a better deal through their teachers association and a federal worker can do better at the sellers website.

If you're thinking about working for ID.me don't! I started working for them 2 weeks ago and I was so excited to finally be apart of a company that valued their employees as much as their customers. My training was supposed to last for 8 weeks. The trainer Adriana absolutely did not embody any of their "culture values" she was irritated whenever anyone didn't grasp a concept right away and nitpicked at everything you did. I was fired by ID.me because they say I left early and came late everyday. I was appalled to even hear that! Literal tears rolled down my eyes to her that lie. If you knew the things I had to do to make sure I got to work on time everyday you would cry too. I came late one time and notified the trainer, I also notified her that I was going to be leaving early that same day due to the fact that I had to pick up my daughter. It was one time! And I thought I did what I was supposed to do. Adriana was the only person who could've told her superiors that I was late all the time and left early, that is the farthest thing from the truth. The day before I got fired I was given an evaluation from Adriana and she told me nothing but positive things about my performance and gave me constructive criticism on some things I could change. I thought everything was fine until I got that call. I was so happy to had finally got this job in the middle of a pandemic. I have a child and a family to feed and that opportunity was ripped away from me with absolutely no explanation. Words can't describe what this did to my spirit. Being fired and having no way of even contacting the person that fired me. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR STUPID "VALUES" they want you to follow.

I can upload documents and have 50 times but i always get "we could not verify you. This is a scam if I ever saw one Unemployment thinks they had problems before? My social security # has been put into id.me several times so i can only imagine who has it now. They (state and government) need to check stuff like this out before they do a move like this. I started the process at 2:22pm to validate my Veteran's access to the VA through ID.me. The process requires a face-to-face along with pictures of multiple IDs including a selfie from my phone and it's called "Meet an agent". It's now several hours later and no progress. The pictures spell out this experience and I could keep going. This is the most ridiculous experience. What value is there in waiting for a 3rd party validation process who fails on the first meeting? And folks wonder why vets are so upset with the VA in general? Because they require you to jump through ridiculous broken procedures like this one. ID.me is a failure, but the VA is drinking the Koolaid and won't get rid of it. Just another cancerous program. I'm not sure how late these folks are open, but this is, as we say in the military, "UNSAT!". Note the timer going up in time the longer the hour ticks by. What a total failure.

This site is ridiculous - for six days I have been attempting to verify with this incredibly terrible company... because they can't verify who I am by my cell phone number - all the other stuff is fine but because THEY can't tell who I am by my cell phone number they keep telling me I have to see a referee... so I get through once and explain I have electronic billing for all of my utility bills and whatever - they make me print off a copy, of what I have on my computer monitor and then attempt to connect again. They make me print - what I have shown them on my screen - and now I have not been able to get through again - this has taken six days - I am so p***** off that I literally can feel my blood pressure in my head. Everytime I logon to ID.me to get a "referee" to verify my identity for state services here in Texas, I'm put on perpetual hold. Wait time NEVER drops below 3 hours. This service is deplorable, and I'd give them negative stars if I could. The State of Texas should cancel it until they adequately staff themselves to handle the load.
