I set up account to sign in it let my to my social security account but after signing out and later coming back to sign in it keeps telling me that don't recognize my email or password, tried to reset password but I never received the code in my email account after 3 hours trying and trying I just gave up.

I have logged in to id.me many times over the last decade. This new verification process is time consuming and overly invasive, imho. You have to provide your full SSN, photo of your drivers license, AND you have to scan your face. They say there is no guarantee that your information is secure. I felt like I was bringing scammed the whole time I was jumping through their hoops. Terrible experience.

Very confussing, took 2 1/2 days to work through the process. Part of the app did not work. Timed out and had to start over. No explaination why data was needed to access app.
