I had spent weeks waiting my precious life attempting to verify my identity using another verification company to try to open a " mySocialSecurity" account and kept getting the message " RESTRICTED!" and was finally told I had to come into an SSA office in person to verify my identity. I am disabled and can't drive, and I live in a very rural area in the remote mountains and had no way to get to an office very far from where I live. After having to cancel two appointments, I reached an agent who was an angel to me. Not only was he extremely courteous and kind, he was patient as well and very knowledgeable. He showed me how to try a different way to verify myself using ID. Me and he assured me that I would be able to create a mySocialSecurity account using this method. And he was correct! I was worrying myself sick in fear for weeks that my SSDI was going to be cut off if I didn't find some way to identify myself soon, and this wonderful agent solved my problem in no time. No others at the other verification site I had tried or Social Security had told me about this ID. Me route to getting verified, but I'm sure glad that this agent last night knew his stuff! ID. Me it's fairly simple to get verified, and after it's extremely easy at each check-in, you have there options, phone, passkey(fingerprint) or generated code. I always use fingerprint since there no worry's to forgetting how to get the passcode or not having the phone number registered.
It was kinda easy to sign in. But once your in it got easier. I would recommend ID. Me to anyone. They also fixed my problem with my account.
Challenging due to third party camera challenges in photo verification process - had to figure out first why I was having the problem and then look up in google how to rectify the issue all very time consuming and frustrating.
