I wondered why ID.me was created cause it seemed to make getting into certain websites a hassle. Yet as always, I learned to adapt. I still went thru a few days/weeks of waiting but what I needed was finally accomplished. I use ID.me because I have to and there's no other option, but the old-fashioned way of updating info without all of that extra authenticating would be my choice. Technology sometimes gets ahead of itself; people depend on it too much. If I was establishing a new way of getting into certain websites, I would definitely choose ID.me as my way of doing things.

I accessed my account from a different device and immediately received an alert prompting me to validate my signing.
