Ibotta is an awesome app that gives you cash back at a wide variety of stores both online and in store. I without a doubt recommend everybody to use Ibotta and get money back for the things you'd by normally. They also have a referral program that starts you off with $10 on your account after you get your first Cashback at any store. Thanks Ibotta for being you!
Ibotta is a rip-off! I was trying to stretch my unemployment benefits with Ibotta. I purchased 10 items at Publix to qualify for over $20.00 in "rewards". I am a member of the Publix loyalty club and signed up for digital receipts. When I downloaded the digital receipt to Ibotta, it was rejected because it was not an "original" receipt. This is total BS! A digital app will not accept a digital receipt! I feel like they stole $20.00 from me and it really stings! Avoid being ripped off!
Somehow, my account was hacked into and I was not able to access it or the cash I had built up. The Ibotta team was amazing at helping to resolve my problem. I am thankful to be able to use my account again. No monies lost!
I submitted a ticket of a barcode that would not scan and Leslie from care team was so hopeful and did a wonderful job helping me out! Long story short the money was added to my account. Thanks again Leslie and everyone in the care team department. Keep up the good work!
IBOTTA has made shopping fun! I earned $133 pretty quickly! That money saved us, we had some unexpected financial issues a few days before we got our work paycheck. We desperately needed money to get by. I knew I could transfer my earnings to my bank account, but that would take a few days. Then I remembered that I could get gift cards immediately, literally from like 145 places. So I got a $50 from Walmart and a $50 for Chipotle. They email it to you in seconds and you scan it at the restaurant or store. It was a lifesaver!
Also what's cool is if you buy something, let's say Walmart and you forget check it on IBOTTA, they will email and msg you on IBOTTA that you have missing money back! They tell you that you missed money back on something you bought. It's all pretty awesome! I love IBOTTA!
They randomly closed my account when i had over $200 in my account. They explained that I returned merchandise but would never explain when I returned merchandise or show me proof. I did return 1 items months before but ibotta took that rebate amount back. They never notified me at the time of indecent and continued to let me us the app and build up my money for months. They took my $200 and will no longer communicate with me. Once this happened to me I started watching You tube videos where this has happened to a lot of people. As soon as you get a lot of money in your account they randomly close it without complete explanation and cut off communication. Horrible customer services.
I would have items on my receipt the same day I would try to redeem and half the time, never got the cash back for the item! One day I redeemed receipts, forgetting which ones I had done already and because I did this, they permanently closed my account, no warning or anything. IMHO, this app isn't worth the hassle. I'll stick with Ebates!
I had never experienced anything negative with Ibotta until I tried to claim a $100 reward they have owed me from a purchase I made in March 2019. I booked a trip using Orbitz where I went through the Ibotta app. I did receive another rebate related to this trip so I am totally baffled. When I checked the status of the reward it indicated it could take up to 75 days. I have been contacting them since day 75 and the response time to each of my inquiries has been horrible - usually several days. In my last inquiry about the reward, they told me it could take 100 days to get my reward. It has now been over 100 days and still no reward. When I click on the Pending status in Ibotta I keep getting a Notification Failed message which I have been getting for several days. I am starting to think I will never see my reward. I am deeply disappointed with this company.
The Ibotta app is one of the easiest things to use. I normally use it for Walmart to get cash back on my purchases. With the seamless integration in between Ibotta and Walmart it just makes it way easier.
The same can be said for any other vendor that uses the system with a quick receipt picture. Cashing out as well is super easy.
I've been using this app for about a month now and I've earned about $21. I am now wanting to take some of that money out of the account and I'm unable to do so because it's attached to an old email address. I've contacted customer service by email as well as phone and been unable to get anybody to help me update this email, I also have a referral for $10 that I haven't seen that was to my sister-in-law. Not that it matters because I'm not able to access the money anyway. I was wanting to support this company since it was a Colorado-based company. However, I'm finding that they don't even offer their local clients any customer support

I constantly have to resubmit for offers that still aren't credited even after. It requires putting in a separate ticket and waiting for someone to fix it. And sometimes they just credit you the value, which is great, but it means that it doesn't count towards bonuses. And multiple purchases of the same qualifying item(s) are supposed to individually count towards achieving bonuses but still don't. Products that should qualify are rejected, even when you submit them for review (a process too brief for an actual human to be doing it, which means relying on a database that's already flawed and inaccurate. The ticket submitting system is atrocious. You can't get to the help desk from the app, because every time you complete the login process in the pop-up window, it takes you back to the app, where you have to start all over again. If you try to bypass the app and go in via the Web browser, it STILL opens up the app and puts you right back at square one. Only when you remove the app are you able to get around that bug, which means having to reinstall, log back in, and hope that you don't have to do it again. Otherwise, you have to wait for the transaction to be a few days old so you can get to the little pop-up dialog box that lets you submit a ticket while in the app. It's really, really sad that it's still this bad after all these years and going public.
Sometimes an item you bought doesn't get credited for whatever reason. And sometimes it can take some repeated prodding to get it done. But it's most often resolved satisfactory. The problem is when it doesn't complete a bonus even when they credit $$$$ money for the item. All in all, kudos 👏 for the customer service representatives doing a mostly thankless job.
Just hit the $500 club with ibotta! It's so easy and fun to keep earning money for shopping and referring friends! I just started working at the school here and was able to refer several new friends to enjoy ibotta too! I love getting cash back from products that I already purchase normally. I save up until Christmas and cash out. The only thing I don't like is the fact that on the 100% cash back, there are a lot of pet coupons and I don't have any pets. You can't get it tailored to your needs.
I've been using Ibotta for months now and I absolutely love it! I like that a lot of the cash back is on items that I use weekly, and I've even invited my Daughters and Sisters as well, and guess what... they think it's awesome as well!
I have a great experience with Ibotta. They give great cash back on most items I regularly purchase and others they give reason to try out. Their customer service is pretty quick to get back and correct any errors. I started in 2015 and can honestly say I recommend Ibotta 100 %
I like using Ibotta because the savings are instant and the money is real, not in form of a gift card or store credit. With a little planning, you can clip your preferred items before going to the store or while shopping. Then, just record your receipt through the Ibotta app and see your savings grow. It's a great way to make extra money for items that you regularly shop for.
I wasnt credited a good size dollar amount and emailed them... went through the steps of what I did... which is exactly what they said on website to do. But apparently lost connection when signing in to my account on the actual shopping shopping sight. They basically said tough luck. You didnt do what you were supposed to.So I let them know I make others aware.
There was no limit to this item. It did not have an expiration date on the deal. It disappeared so fast it's getting out of hand.

Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
