Nothing is easy with using this app. Very often I will get zero cas-back for verified offers I saved. Yesterday I scanned the product barcodes in the app to confirm offers attached. 3 out of 4 offers I took time to scan and read labels in store are missing. This is not an isolated event, unfortunately. When things run smoothly and as expected, cash-back is fun.
Further, the time and hassle of writing in to HELP department to hopefully get resolved is too much. It quickly turns this app from something fun, challenging and rewarding to a guaranteed headache and a feeling of playing into a scam to know your consumer habits/purchased, valuable info tor this app.
Some reps do give a hard time, but it's the ones that make the process easy and you dont leave empty handed. Glad I got trough to someone and my issue was handled.

Depending on your shopping needs and locations, you can find pretty decent deals on here. And if you are lucky enough that the offer can be combined with a manufacturer coupon it is really advantageous. However, due to technical glitches with the app, it can be very frustrating to claim your deals. About 50% of the time, the app doesn't recognize the item on my receipt so you have to watch carefully when you submit the receipt, and if it doesn't catch an item, you have to go dig that item back out of your fridge or pantry and scan the bar code on an item or two of your submission. And then about 30% of the time after submitting an offer, they come back and say that the offer couldn't be matched so you have to communicate with customer service to prove that it was valid. Customer service has always been helpful and courteous, but it is a chore to have to stay on top of all this.

I have been a couponer since I was a kid and my mom taught me how. Back then it was all paper and then digital coupons came along. But just like forgetting my paper coupons on the kitchen counter, sometimes with store digital coupon apps, I didn't remember to load them before checkout. That is one advantage of Ibotta. I can check the app to see if what I bought has an offer:-)
The one frustration I have with Ibotta is their offers don't have a listed expiration date and frequently there is no "warning" that an offer is getting ready to expire. It has happened to me a couple times and it is very frustrating... there one minute and gone the next:-( I've also had a few other minor issues with the logistics of the app and almost never get the desktop site to work, but every time I have reached out to customer service they have been quick to respond and accommodating my requests. It is frustrating to have to take that extra step but kind and understanding customer service goes a long way, IMO
Nice to make a little fun money just by purchasing items I usually buy. Easy to do even for this old lady! If I run into an issue customer service is fast and very helpful.

I've had I bought it for quite a while now and I absolutely love it. I can't say every so often there's an issue with an item that I bought that either. It's the picture of the item with the ounce on it directly or just an error but even if there's an issue on an error, all you have to do is send a message and they are on point on helping you very courteous polite. I just love Ibotta!

Right now I'm missing cash back on my Thanksgiving pie. I bought it at Meijer today and the bar code matched when I scanned it before buying. After I bought it, it tells me they don't match. Now I gave to go buy another one but it's not there to scan anymore.
Been using Ibotta for a couple years without any problems. Had my first issue this week where an item wouldn't post to my list and I therefore couldn't get my reward. I contacted the help desk, was given a ticket number and the issue was resolved within 24 hours. The money is in my account. Highly recommend

I am really amazed by the rebate offers for products/ foods my household uses weekly. I prefer phone customer service yet Ibotta customer service has been prompt and satisfactory. The rebates have the quickest return than any other rebate apps. You can choose gift cards or cash. How do people get buy without Ibotta!

Love making money just by picking items, buying and scanning my receipts. Super easy! When there is an issue which there seldom is, they resolve it fast and are very nice about it. I have been using this app for about 3 or so years. And earned almost 2,000 dollars with little effort.

I had an issue with my account and I reached out to customer service and they were super accommodating. If places do not have good customer service it definitely pushes you away. Their customer service is one of the main reasons I keep my account active.

I I really enjoy the app, and have used it for over 10 years. Occasionally, an issue arises that requires me to use the chat feature to contact customer service. They respond promptly within 24 hours and they resolve the issues.

It's so super easy to use Ibotta for cash back and I've not found a higher payout in my experience for cash back offers. I have literally made easy money here. And for stuff I already buy. Plus it's a good resource to find brands that offer natural and ingredients and speciality products like dairy free etc. and get paid to try them. I have found some brands on Ibotta that I love and will continue to buy that are healthy without additives and junk. It's tailored to your buying habits in addition to new offers for new products.

Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?
Answer: Because they deny certain purchases due to cost! It's become a scam!
Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
