I had trouble w the ibotta app and not getting credit for $7 worth or purchases. Thankfully, after several back and forth attempts to explain sms provide proof. Jay from Ibotta listened to my case and credited my account w the $7. Thank you Jay!
I have been using ibotta for 5 years and always have a good experience. This was made even more evident aftee my latest customer service experience with them. When I was missing some cash back after 4 days of submitting my purchase receipt. I emailed them about it. They got back to me super fast and made sure I got the cash back I was due only a few hours after I sent my email!
About every 4-5 time I send in a receipt, at least one item"canny be found ". When clearly it is in the receipt and I have the item to scan. Of course it is always a larger dollar amount that won't work and it's difficult to communicate with you directly to correct the issue.
I got exactly the Lenny and Larry's Cookie-fied Cookies and Creme bars (4 count) which is an offer for cash back, but the receipt refuses to accept the barcode and I don't know why. So now I overspent money and would have only bought to try because of Ibotta. Very frustrating. And I cannot get a good place to directly submit for help through the app.
When using the Ibotta app, even though the listed products have been bought and they have been checked in the app they fail to show up when submitted. Then when you choose missing cash back and have to scan the barcodes manually, it shows that it took and then later it still doesn't give you the cash back for said product. It really is frustrating!
I have been a member of Ibotta for a few years now. My experience with it has always been positive, and I appreciate the benefits and ease of use. On a recent transaction, several items were missing from a pickup grocery order. At first I was annoyed and figured it was a lost cause based on my similar experience with another app. Finally I decided I would just send in a help request knowing it would probably be rejected. Not only was the process easy, I was pleasantly surprised to get an email response that same night. My cash back was added to my account just as quickly. Thank you Ibotta for the super quick resolution!
I had an issue with a receipt for which I emailed the help desk. They responded within minutes, and after some additional information from me they made the correction and found an additional rebate that I qualified for. I ended up with a higher rebate amount than I had originally submitted for!
I am writing this because I am pleased with the service that Ibotta has offered. Ibotta can be very genuine with those who are honest when using their platform, but they can implement rules strictly against those who cheat them. As long as you are honest with your receipts and submissions, Ibotta will also go over and beyond to give you extra rewards for your patronage.
I had 2 transactions on the same day, for the same store. I mistakenly entered all the information for only 1 receipt. Ibotta associates Gerald and Brenda F. Were professional and courteous. They sorted out my complex issue regarding 2 receipts. In my opinion, the issue was very complex, however, these two clever associates quickly understood my concern and quickly resolved the issue. Results were clear and concise. I was very appreciative of their help!
I thought I was missing cash back. I asked for help and within hours had a response. I figured it would take days because no one would really care. They were very helpful and checked my recipt again. I am always skeptical of these sites but so far this one has been amazing
With Walmart & Ibotta, I was able to do a curbside order for family in another state. They received a snack plus a dinner & dessert for later that evening. My granddaughters also each received a weighted stuffed animal!
I submitted a request for a rebate that said any retail of it would not come off of the receipt from the store. I purchased the item in less than 24 hours. My rebate was approved. Thank you so much. I have saved so much money with iBotta it helped us with our budget.
After a recent (online, delivery) purchase, I noticed some missing offers. I waited for a couple days, the offers were still not credited so I submitted a ticket to have this reviewed. In less than 24 hours, not only had one of Ibottas representatives reached out to me, but had corrected the issue and all eligible offers were credited to my account.
I gotta is a great app. Their customer service is great if you have any questions or missing cash back they will take the time to explain what happened and if you qualify for the cash back they will add it to your balance. This is the best app I've ever used...
Thanks so much for rectifying a disappointing experience. Brings back my joy for Ibotta. Attempted to submit a receipt three days after purchase but one item wouldn't scan even though I checked all of the parameters. Since it was after midnight, I decided to wait and try again later that day. When I scanned my receipt that night, the one problem item and two others from the same candy manufacturer had vanished from my gallery. I reluctantly submitted what I could, hoping I could get a fix. The Ibotta Care team came through for me, fixing $4.00 of rebates and a related Bonus. I will have an extra big smile as I build the Easter baskets for my grandkids!
Lately I have a problem getting my cash back. I purchased a small ham 2 days ago & never got my cash back. When it asked if I'm missing I get no where. I try get my cash back to no avail. If wish I could get understanding of how to get my cash back without jumping thre hoops
I didn't understand something about my purchase and the customer service department was so amazing in helping me to understand where I would need to look to make sure I was meeting the requirements. And they were so polite and understandable. I highly recommend ibota to everyone looking to help with the cost of shopping now days.
I had an issue with my receipt not scanning one offer, so I wasn't credited. I emailed support and quicker than I even expected since it's a Friday, I got a response. Best customer service I've had in a very long time. I will always use Ibotta.

I gave 4 stars because originally my question was not really understood so I had to respond a few times. Once situation understood Josh took the correct action to help me and responded fairly quickly.
They are so helpful could not ask for better customer service they are always so helpful. I thought I lost my points and got very nervous and was rest assured I did not and got them right back and got right back into my account no issues. Christmas is now saved
Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?

Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.
Answer: Why don't any product receipts add extra bonus for us?
Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
