Why I ranked 3
Great way to save some Xtra cash & save, BUT & I mean BUT couldn't link to my banking establishment, so now I have to go get a Walmart Green Dot Card to reap my rewards, & still won't know how easy it'll be to connect since haven't yet done so. Will be back for more details...

Missing cash

I bought 3 bolt house juices and also some eggs. I don't have the items because I drink them and could not scan them. I did scan my receipt from 5/5/24 but it does not look like the system read it.

Difficult Receipt Scans

I'm very happy overall with being able to save on things I'm planning to buy anyway. But, scanning the receipts has proven to be difficult at times.

Ibotta is AbuchaBS

Ibotta is a scam. Once you have accumulated any appreciable "earnings," as Ibotta likes to refer to a customer's money, it is almost impossible to withdraw or transfer said funds out of Ibotta's clenched fists. Ibotta's customer support is a joke. Rarely can one get an answer from a live human being, and when one does the answer is far from helpful and in mist cases directly works against a y positive resolution for the customer. At one point Ibotta's customer care team manager actually deactivated my account when I requested that my earnings be transferred to my PayPal account. Long story short. After repeated support ticket submissions and emails, my earnings in the amount of $34.44 remain inaccessible to me. DONT WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME AND RESOURCES TRYING TO SQUEEZE WATER FROM THIS ROCK.

Until recently WAS a big fan. I always heard that there could be payout problems. I was always trying to get a few items every week and found the kids loving Chex for 1.50 rebate me too. So I planned a huge Ibotta day. I needed 16 buys to get a 10 dollar bonus. I bought every BOGO and big rebate like 1.50 Chex buying multiples. So to AVOID problems I immediately scan my receipt in store. Yep needed 16 items got 23 and had money back of over 32 dollars. Following shopping trip checked my amount on Ibotta. Nothing but a 2$ credit from months earlier. Ibotta of course needs the receipt sent AGAIN. Tried to get receipt copy from Walmart supplying date/time/ register and person scanning and my card. All that supplied Walmart can't find it. I'm not sure how many weeks of shopping I got nothing, even after religiously scanning receipt s each time. I did cash out nearly 90 plus dollars earlier this year but no more. I would think the Ibotta app would hold my receipt pics in a file in my phone they could pull up. So just to be safe send them in and keep all your receipts cause what you here is true.

Learning how to get the best of my experience

Beginning to learn about it is a little bit confusing I still haven't received credit for some of the things that I have bought that was within the things that I had checked off and I don't understand because it said any brand of that product which is the Downy smell beads and I lost $3 cash back over this deal which was upsetting but I guess you lose some and you periodically have a chance of winning so it has been the experience that I'm taking so far I'm still learning I'm not going to call it quits just yet I'm going to continue to try to navigate and learn more to make my experience more pleasant and rewarding for my shopping experiences.

Excellent UI

I work in IT integration and the UI is particularly friendly. Other applications are clunky, however with no instruction other than the on screen prompts I was able to easily use the platform.

Missing credit

This is the second time I've made a large purchase at Amazon and I bought it refuses to give me my credit the first time my purchase was over $600 this time my purchase is over $700 but let you go return something for $20 they'll hurry up and snatch a little 10 since they gave you for the $20 you spent at Amazon or Walmart I am tired of dealing with them and I believe this will be my last month using a Ibotta

What is going on!?

Can someone from Ibotta please explain to your clients what the malfunction is here? I have to say this WAS my go to app for the past several Months. Butit this app is completely frustratig to say the least as it's not working. I transferred funds to my acct that still have yet to show up. You can't even send ibotra a message to reach out to someone. It's a joke. Come on Ibotta we are making you money therefore one would think you would fix the problem here because you are clearly loosing business just Google your company and pay attention to what users are saying. I had no idea there were so many complaints. You might want to figure it oit. I personally won't keep waisting my time If it's not fixed here real quick.

A good friend of mine turned me on to Ibotta about a month and a half ago. There was a little bit of a learning curve but I got it down now. Easy Peasy once you learn how the app works. When I first got the app I clicked on a 1.5 litre of Smirnoff Vodka which Ibotta would give me $5.00 when I purchased. I accidentally scanned the credit card receipt by mistake and then tried to scan the correct itemized receipt but the item was no longer available. I emailed customer service with a picture of the correct receipt and they responded the next day and credited my account with the $5.00. So yeah, booze, Tide, Grocery items that I usually buy and some that I tried for the first time that I liked worked out really well. Lots of participating stores, local grocery, Wal-Mart, Amazon, Groupon etc etc. Most the negative reviews I think come from folks who don't understand how to properly use the app resulting in frustration hence the bad reviews. I don't know about them all I know is I just transferred effortlessly $95.05 that I racked up in less than 2 months that I would not have had otherwise. Highly recommend Ibotta!
