Hulu has the worst service ever. I can't get through one movie without it stopping and restarting a 1000 times. I wouldn't waste my time on this service. I called customer service and they didn't seem to really want to help with the problem. This is by far the worst most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with.
Wish I could give it a half star for content because other then SOME shows the service is trash. The site crashes ALL THE TIME. They blame your internet service meanwhile Netflix and amazon I never have an issue. It's all those adds! It uses up the band width and slows everything down. How this kind of service is acceptable when your PAYING is beyond me. And don't even get me started on their user interface
I was scrolling through a way to get good shows and I find Hulu which said they have your first month free and then later on you will have to pay its regular fee. So I was like okay let's do this. I filled out all the information and then start watching some shows. Later, I get an email from Pay-Pal, the way I said WOULD pay later on, and it said "You have just paid $7.99 to Hulu." and I was like woah... hold up. So, I figured out that they even though it said the first month was free, they still took my money. :(
When it comes to entertainment, I prefer watching movies to other forms of entertainment. This is also the case for most people I love. After subscribing at hulu.com for movies, I have been enjoying the movies I like, at a very cheap price. The most interesting part with this company is that the movies can be accessed from a wide variety of devices with different operating systems. There is also a 24/7 customer service support system which is very responsive.
Hulu has decent offerings but it is streaming and that is the problem. All streaming services are limited by time used or company used and speed of service by internet provider. So it works fine or locks up.
I dont want my daughter seeing these disgusting LGBT tranny commercials. Not only is it wrong and gross but to put things like this in a childs head is in my opinion wrong on so many levels.
I refuse to have my money go to a company that panders to liberal ideology.
First of all, I wanted to watch Grey's Anatomy season 14 so I went on Hulu, (which PAYS) and there are ADs... Like, if you pay, why should there be ads.
Netflix is much better. Hulu says you have to turn off AdBlocker so it can freeze or show you ads every 2 minutes. Not a good website.
Although, for my 2 stars, I like the sneak peeks, deleted episodes, etc., and the season 14 obviously.
This site is pretty good. If you missed a certain TV show, you can watch it on here. The movies are clear just like your TV. They have movies and movie clips as well. This is a very good site. They have it for free or you can upgrade it. Try it... you just might like it...
Not only are the 3 minute long commercials every 8 minutes a nuisance, the quality of the picture goes in and out every few minutes. It goes blurry for a full minute and then clear, only go to blurry again a minute later. Won't be using Hulu anymore. The other streaming apps are superb in every way.
I have Hulu and every time I am watching a show it stops or goes mute. I heard a few good things about Hulu and it seems they were all lies because I am very unsatisfied with the streaming ability or the way it goes mute, freezes, stops. I can never watch anything on it and I would like a refund honestly
I switched back to Hulu last year when they added local ABC channels. Now, after a year of dealing with unreliable service, buffering, problems with controlling loudness, poor color correction, and overcharges and upcharges and a major price gouge, they have removed local ABC channels without notification. All in all, a waste of my time and certainly of my money. Today, I have cancelled my service but I don't get a refund for the next 12 days that I won't be using their services. The final insult. I wish there was a way to tell them something that a certain specific one fingered hand gesture would convey. Are they trying to push everyone back to using cable? Great business plan, Hulu!
Hulu is seriously the worst streaming service ever. Can you maybe fix the service so it doesn't freeze and every five seconds trying to just watch one episode. Or do you do that so you have to upgrade your service.
If I am paying of the service, I do not expect to have to also sit through commercials. Either I'm sponsoring the programming and get it commercial free, or advertisers are sponsoring the programming and I get it with commercials at no cost. Hulu is double-dipping, and it's unpleasant.
Don't waste your money, your just paying for non stop adds! They have other movie apps for free! There's non stop problems and glitches. They already make alot of money off showing adds but these greedy $#*!s make you pay on top of it. Its supose to be one or the other! I'm just mad I didn't cancel this bs service sooner.
It has none of the popular shows like the walking dead only 6 episodes of season 1 of fear the walking dead.so its a lie there telling us you can watch current shows you cant. Take supernatural its going on its 11 season there is no showing of it at all
They should pay you to watch HULU, instead of you paying them. It is so bad there is no way to describe it. Manages to drop off during content (which is inferior), but not during commercials! Netflix is infinitely better. HULU is an advertising platform, NOT a streaming platform.
We signed up for the one week trial. Billing continued. They stated there was history of us watching shows. We looked at the history, there are only two us, and we had never watched any of these shows. Many of the watch times were for less than one minute.
Hulu is not worth the purchase if you purchase the 14.95 package it has more commercials then show time you feel like your just purchasing commercials on the other hand if you don't want so many commercials then they charge an outrageous price 85.00 not worth any of it
The past four months I've been watching Hulu. I've been having the problem of it constantly buffering and shutting down saying they're having trouble shooting. And kicking me completely off and having to go all the way back onto Hulu and start over again. Hulu is beginning to suck.
Hulu offers ad free service. While some shows are ad free many are not. You can not fast forward thru the ads but must watch from 2 to 7 ads.
Hulu says they will keep track of shows you watch but many times you have to remember what episode you are one as Hulu does not.
Answer: Not worth it since they updated their interface into an unusable mess. Customer service is awful, stay far away.
Answer: Happened to me. Stay away from hulu. My systems is high speed and works great with YouTube 4k and Netflix 4K HDR. Hulu obviously is bandwidth limited which might work for customers who watch old movies but their technology is not good for 1080P and modern technology.
Answer: It's hulu yet clearing the cashe every time before starting Hulu is substandard there overloaded
Answer: Yes & with Hulu Live you get all of the local channels like CBS, NBC, Fox & ABC. The shows are clearer too because of the way they come in from their On Demand libraries. I love Hulu Live & was so tired of Dish for a few reasons. You should just try it. You get the first seven days free & can cancel anytime. No contracts, equipment or bullshit. All you need is a good strong internet signal which most of us have today. My monthly bill was $100 with Dish. My new Hulu Live bill is $80, but that includes no commercials & an extended cloud DVR where you can fast forward through commercials on recorded shows. You also get access to their whole Hulu library.
Hulu's reputation is marked by a diverse content library and the appeal of timely access to popular TV shows and movies, which many customers appreciate. However, significant concerns have emerged regarding technical performance, including frequent buffering, app freezes, and navigation difficulties, leading to frustration among users. Additionally, issues with customer service, such as unresponsive support and billing discrepancies, have been highlighted. The overall sentiment indicates that while Hulu offers valuable content, persistent operational problems and a growing dissatisfaction with ad frequency may push customers toward alternative streaming services.
