As all of the other customers wrote, I was scammed. Ordered on 12/2 and did not receive anything. I called my bank to file a charge back. The bank denied my request and said that "I willingly gave them the money." They were also very unhelpful and basically said I was $#*! outta luck. What do I do now? I need that money and they ruined my child's Christmas. I am a newly single mother of two and that is all my oldest daughter wanted considering we've had nothing but stress and strife this year. I haven't bought her anything this entire year.
I ordered December 2, never got a shipping notice. When I call I always get the answering message that makes no sense and says the same thing no matter what time it is when I call. I filed a dispute with my bank! I hope they are stopped! So sad!
This company is awful. The Hoverboard I ordered for my son will not charge. I have been emailing them for over a week and cannot get a response. Forget about calling them, it's a recording and no one will call you back. Please save yourself the $200 and order from a reputable place. I do not understand how a company can sell defective products like this and leave the buyer with no recourse. I am beyond livid.

I ordered a hover board from hoverboarder.com. This was suppose to be a Christmas gift for my son. We never received it! So I started doing a little research and new then that it was a scam. I called the company and someone named Charmaine answers the phone and tells me that they have been shut down and that I would need to go through my bank to get my money back. WTF! Really!?
I bought a hover board for my son for Christmas and ordered a gold one, however we got a white one. That didn't bother me though, but my son used it exactly one week and then the board just wouldn't cut on. I emailed the support two times and still no response and can't seem to get through to them on the phone. Do not buy from them... it's a scam and they are just disappointing our children!
This company is a joke. They don't return calls or emails. My board came late and is the wrong color. They have yet to respond to this complaint and now my daughter is out of a Christmas present. How does this company able to continue to scam people? Beware, they charge your credit card the minute you place the order.

I placed my order on 11/28, they took the money on 11/30. NEVER received any information at all. I assumed they were just slammed with orders. STILL NOTHING, left 3 msgs, 3 emails nothing and the card I used was a gift card so to file a dispute they charge $25.00. I am pissed off! I will loose 25.00 if I get anything back. They need to be SUED.
I ordered a hover board on 12/8/16 from hoverboarder.com for 199.99 i didnt receive any order number or conformation or tracking number I've emailed and called several times to the company left voice mails the company has failed to contact me back.
After reading all these reviews, I should be glad that I actually received some type of board even though it was the wrong color & I didn't receive the carrying bag I paid for. Shame on them for taking people's money & not following through. Lesson learned for me-do research before I buy from a new company. I filed a complaint with the Florida BBB, where they have a D rating.
I as many of you were terrified after I read the reviews after ordering a Hoverboard for my daughter for Christmas. However, I decided to just remain patient since the bad reviews were about the customer service and delivery schedule not the hoverboards themselves.
To my surprise I ordered it on Sunday 11/27 and it was delivered Thursday 12/01. I definitely was the wrong color! Chrome (not even an option on the website) instead of the back I ordered, but still looks like a nice hoverboard and at Christmas will determine the quality.
I have tried to contact them on numerous occasions and there is no answer or no one is ever around to answer the phone. I sent an email and no response the sad thing is when I ordered my board I informed them it was a birthday present. Still no board and no response. I think this company is a scam as well.

Ordered a BLUE hoverboard on 9/22 and the site said it shipped out on 9/26. We were hoping it would be in by 10/1 for our son's birthday but it never arrived. After numerous phone calls (in which we never got to speak to anyone but a machine), and several e-mails trying to reach the company, we were getting very frustrated. We tried tracking the board with the tracking number, but each time it just said invalid tracking number. Finally after the forth e-mail, we got a response saying the board had just been shipped (this was TWO WEEKS after it was supposed to have originally been shipped). Took another week after that to get the board and then it was the wrong color! Ordered blue and got black. Not happy with this site at all. Prices are good but service is absolutely terrible. Would not recommend!
Purchased a hoverboard the first week of October. The product was receiced on 10/11. On their website as well as confirmation email you receive after the order is placed, they do notify you that there are delays, so we were expecting it.
The item did arrive in perfect condition. And my son is super happy to finally have his hoverboard!
I order a Hoverboard from this company and it took several weeks for it to arrive. It came as the wrong color and doesn't work. I attempted to call the number numerous times at all hours, left messages and I sent multiple emails. NO RESPONSE! I even called the number that came with the form on the board. No one ever picks up and the line just goes to voicemail to tell you it's full. I never received a confirmation email that should of been a red flag. I only found this review page after researching and realizing it's a scam! How is this still going on and why isn't their site terminated? These scum bags need to be in jail!
Ordered on 11/17/16. Was worried that it didn't ship. Received a confirmation that it had shipped on 11/25/16. I keep checking the FedEx Tracking number and it still hasn't been picked up. I'm beyond worried at this point. This is all my daughter wanted for Chistmas. They will not return phone calls or emails either. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!
After several attempts in contacting the company I never got a response until I filed a dispute with my credit card company. After notifying my bank and explaining to them in detail with followed up emails and record of my calls and messages I ironically receive an email the next day from hoverboarder that my order has a fed ex tracking number but never received a fed ex confirmation. I immediately replied to the email sent to be from the company trekking them I no longer want the product and refund my payment to my credit card. I don't know what the bank dies but my funds were back in my account in 3 business days. The downfall is now I have to wait for a new credit card because of this transaction they closed my account so that hoverboarder do not try to go in my account to submit for another payment. Please be aware do not order from hoverboarder or I believe it's called electricexpress.com after looking into the information they are the same company.
They won't return calls, emails or money! They send me the wrong hover board back in October that was $200 cheaper than the one I ordered. They did provide me with a FedEx return label but never sent me the correct merchandise or refund me my money! They won't even respond!

I confirmed the empty lot when I called the Miami Police Dept and the city of Miami business authority... There are over 80 complaints at the BBB this month alone about this fraudulent company. His name is Jimmy Temkin and he is doing business under many other company names using the same address that does not exist. FIle a complaint with your bank and cancel any cards u gave them so they don't charge it again
