Place order 3/27, got two confirms that the order was received and being processed. Nine days later got an email saying choose a new color, my cc has already been charged and the amount is now owed on my statement. Tried calling five customer service numbers 3 were "not in service" 2 had a robo message from some female with a thick Asian accent. I called by cc company and reported it as a fraudulent purchase i. E. scam! I keep getting emails asking me to reply if I want to cancel, I have answered by computer which never shows in my "sent mailbox" so I used my phone and it shows up as sent. Stay away from this website, they will take your money and run! No one answers their so called customer service number, there is no customer service. BUYER BEWARE
Okay first they didn't write the shipping cost when i was paying and then after I payed they wrote 40$ shipping! I live in canada and on there site it's said from 11$. And after i paid the total price was 77$ with the shipping and all and that's what i agreed to pay (37$ without the shipping) but they took 84$ from my account and sent me the receit as 58 usd which is 84 cad like wtf is this. I tried to contact them by phone no one answered so I sent an email and it's been like a week and no one responded. And now i got the things but one of the products I wanted was a wella bleach powder (4 packets of wella bleach powder 1 oz) but what i got was a l'oreal bleach powder and just ONE packet. I will NEVER get anything from there again.
Got the item I ordered, shipping time from US to Norway was a little slow compared to other US sites, but not that bad. The prices are good and the customer service was a bit slow, but they answered me withing a couple of days. I see alot of negative reviews, but in my case it wasn't a bad experience. I may have got lucky, but I would order again as long as it isn't too pricey because of all the bad experience that customers have with the company.
I ordered from this company and wanted them to send an email with tracking information. I got an automation "ticket received" email response. However, I never got a response from anyone. It's been five days since I received the ticket, about 10 since I ordered... nothing. I guess they don't have time for that, only for money. I would never order from these vile, greedy people again.
Got a steam roller set that didn't work. No steam comes out. They said I had to take photos on the ship box inside and out, around all the sides, the original box, all the parts. Then they would send it to the department and they will let me know if I get a refund. How does these photos show no steam coming out. This company has the worst feedback. An F rating on BBB. I'm filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. On their return policy it said nothing about all these firey hoops. I look on it today and they added it in. Wasn't there yesterday. Wow!
Even if they appear to be in US, whatever you order it comes from China and will take a month and a half for you to get it, that if you are lucky. They have terrible business practices, all they want is take your money, they don't care about what you get. If you ask your credit card the money back, they want you to ship it back to China. Save your money and buy somewhere else. This is a big scam company!
I ordered Sunny isle conditioner and I received all by Kuza brand which means this company sent 10usd cheaper product each and saved 60usd. I asked them now to replace it but they are asking me to pay for shipping cost for both ways since I am in Australia shipping cost is more expensive then the actual items. This is the second time has happened. This is big scam company and would never recommend to anyone. They are so much insensitive towards customer satisfaction and the most difficult thing here is to chase them over the phone. Stay away from this company even if you have to pay extra to some genuine other website please do so. Attached photo shows all incorrect products and also have attached my invoice.
Bought a wig and followed directions to return it, after several attempts both by phone and email, they finally sent me a return label. I returned the wig, which they finally acknowledged they received with directions on how I could replace the order or get a credit. Well, it's been going on two months and still no response to my replacement request or a credit. NO ONE ANSWERS PHONE OR EMAILS! I will pursue this with my card company ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
My experience was terrible from the start. First, I got two confirmation emails, one with the discounted price that I used with a promo code and the other full price. It turned out I had been charged full price. Took several days to reach someone at customer service. No one answers when you call and the email response took forever. I even got multiple emails back from different people after like a week of it having been resolved; clearly, there is a lack of organization and communication in the customer service department.
And to top it off, it took 9 days to receive a tracking number and for my item to actually ship. I had finally gotten through to customer service, and the only way to receive a concrete response was to threaten to cancel my order. The rep was quick to help but not friendly or apologetic whatsoever.
Never ordering from this site again. Don't bother with them.

I was charged for an order I attempted to cancel over 24 hours before it was shipped. Even though I followed company instructions to contact them phone calls and emails were conveniently ignored until it was," too late". Their customer service rep then accused me of tampering with the item. They also wanted to charge about half the cost of the item to return it.
Never again. There's too many better run beauty supply options to settle for this poorly run organization.
Ordered a Lava Tech Bonnet Dryer from House of Beauty World on December 22,2019 with shipping promised within 3-7 days. Received it on January 2nd, 2020, where the shipping box was in good condition but the bonnet dryer's bottom section was completely shattered & pulverized (when I lifted the item out of the box, plumes of heavy dust infiltrated the air & I started coughing violently)! They had also opened the manufacturer's box where the bonnet dryer was contained & stuffed other smaller items ordered within, so that this supposedly new item arrived with unsealed, open packaging. All the items shipped were covered with the same dust from the damaged & unusable hair dryer.
I had already emailed House of Beauty with several questions (using their website email for customer service) and NEVER heard back either time. Then I submitted another email with multiple pictures to document the damaged merchandise they shipped to me and no response. I also tried to call multiple times during business hours and no one answered the phones. I ended up having to turn it over to my credit card company for a dispute of charges since they failed at all levels as a company. Would NOT recommend doing business with this company. The photos show the top of the bonnet dryer and the next picture shows the bottom of the bonnet dryer cracked and shattered and lastly a picture that shows dust particles and plastic bits from dryer bottom that had shattered off from the bottom section of hair dryer making it unusable.
I ordered braiding hair from this site and received a draw string ponytail instead. I called multiple times. ( No answer) sent numerous emails with no answer. Ordering from this site is the equivalent of throwing your money down a balcony. Don't do it. The company clearly does not value customer service and has no problem taking your money while you sit there either waiting for an order that will not come or stuck with something you did not order

I have never ordered from this company before and receive my package today with the item poorly made. It is a drawstring ponytail brand that I usually buy but this one came defective with the tracks loose and poorly sewn in. The color was off and the shininess was also different from the other ones I have received in the past. I called the customer service number on the invoice and got an automated phone line where no one would answer. It gives you the option to leave a voicemail but when you try to leave it you are unable to. I purchased this item for my birthday and not sure if it is even wearable. I am very disappointed. To top it off they just folded the package in half and shoved it into an envelope. I will stick with Amazon in the future.

I ordered some lotion and during the checkout process a box popped up with a discount code to use, so I did and it took the 25% off but after I placed the order the 25% was not included. I even tried to check on it before placing the order but could not. I contacted the company IMMEDIATELY by phone only to find out that their mailbox was full. I then sent several emails describing my problem and requested that if they couldn't honor the 25% off that I did NOT want the item and that they should cancel my order. To my surprise I received an email telling me that the item was being prepared for shipment, with no indication whether the discount has been applied. Then I email wanting an answer to my question. This company does not know how to satisfy a customer or conduct business. I purchased a wig, when I finally received it, it did not look like the picture. When I requested for a return, it took six or seven emails back and forth to finally get a return authorization, they wanted pictures which I sent several times. Claimed they never received them and the final straw was if I return it and they do not like the condition(which was untouched), I have to pay for return shipping and shipping back to me if they do not approve. I am done dealing with these clowns. Be careful if you buy from them, very shady!
I received my item. The hair color on the internet was misleading so I wanted to exchange it, yet they didn't have anything reddish. I wanted send back for a refund, but they won't accept their merchandise back. In the box, unused and unopened merchandise. Beware! If you got wrong color based on the misleading picture, it is yours forever and money is wasted.
Company failed to deliver one of the expensive items I ordered from a list of many beauty products - A set of 6 ceramic rollers. I sent them pictures where you could clearly see that it was impossible to fit them into the box they sent to me and that the actual invoice itself showed where packer was ticking items off and the rollers were not ticked off. They just kept repeating that they had been packed with no budging. I had absolutely no recourse. I live in Ireland and have lodged a complaint with my consumer affairs people here not sure where that will go as I believe they are an american registered company. I have been a customer of Amazon for years and typically don't order anywhere else. Now I know why.
Note Amazon followed up as I payed via their secure payment service, and I received 80% refund of the item eventually. I'll still give only 1 star for all the hassle!
Answer: Nope! Try Amazon instead. HOB is not fulfilling shipments at all. Numerous customers never receive their orders or only receive a portion of their order with no refund
