Every time I have trouble logging in to see panel or web Mail, When I login right here, I still can't open. My email takes several tries then somehow I usually get in. I used to be able to login and get to it right away every time. And right now, I won't even let me leave you this rating.
I love Host Gator because whenever I had a question, I was always able to get a live agent. Instead of having their customers go through the time-consuming, frustrating, none-humaned; FAQ (process of elimination) questionnaire.for their customer service option. At one point, no matter what time of the day I called, someone always answered. But, now-a-days their hours are more limited. Yet, I still love them because, whenever I am able to catch them (because I work so late). Whoever answers, they are always patient, helpful, and attentive to all my concerns. And for these reasons, I just love HOST GATOR.
The plan is now way too expensive. I used to pay $11 a month for the baby plan. It is now over $20. With exchange rates, that is even more. I am now in the process of transferring to a different web host.
Would not recommend since your holding my info for ransom and probably selling my info. I get calls days in for my website. Since this is for school to learning how to code. Once done, will end this hot garbage.

When I chat with one of your support staff, they advised me to restore my backup luckily I have restore some of my backup. Plus they have adjusted and restored my old PHP back.

The revamped interface is significantly less user-friendly. I find it quite intolerable; there's a sense of chaos, and the payment history is nowhere to be found. It's nearly impossible to locate the option to settle a particular invoice, and the overall impression is that of utter disarray!

1.Unlimited disk space: It is limited to 20 GB and 100,000 files which.
2. $500 Google Ad spend match credit AND $100 Microsoft Advertising credit: It is a joke
3. Cloudflare CDN: yet not configured
4. Dedicated IP address: I have enabled after requesting the support.
I am struggling creating my website. I completed the form to request assistance. A rep called me back but during work hours so I couldn't answer. They did great by following up via email referring me to make an appointment. However, I made the appointment but the rep never called. I'm still stuck in frustration mode.

My website got hacked. Hostgator was slow to respond. Never really offered any help. Back up was not effective. No other options. Found a cheap freelancer who fixed it FAST. Really dissapointed that hostgator couldnt do something, anything. Then I was told hostgator is not that secure and that I should switch to a better host.

The first screen that I have been getting recently after I login to the billing system is a page trying to sell me a product which I have to opt out of to continue. I could do without that. I don't like having sales pushed on me like that.

Answer: If you go straight to smartchat, it is very easy - you only need to find the smartchat button. I have worked with the Internet since web browsers were invented, so I know most of the answers already. That means that when I have a problem that I can't solve, it is going to be a real stinker for HostGator support to solve - I only bring them the difficult ones. Recently, I had an ISP who gave me terrible service, and the internet kept dropping out every few minutes. The Hostgator smartchat expert kept contact with me on and of for about an hour and three quarters until he had worked out the answer for me. That is what I call RELIABLE service.
