The address on he registry is incorrect. I have asked for the information to be updated for my business, to fix the issue and this has not been done. Customer service representative kept me on hold for 45 minutes, but still did not resolve me issue. I should be able to update my info per my new webmail *******@elitebankruptcy.net and the correct contact information. I have had several interactions the failed to complete my request. The next step is getting a new hosting provider. Please fix this immediately

When i registered my domain you sold my information. I received 15-30 calls a day for weeks offering me web design, logos, marketing etc. I used a private number which I shouldn't have, and I know it came from you. When I called in, they gave me an email to write to which was an invalid email. Next time give users an option to OPT out. Unacceptable

Hostgator used to be super affordable and really functional for me with very effective support. The recent price increase, when I use this account for basically nothing, is ridiculous. I talked to support and was offered a discount, but the discount was never applied to the account. You guys used to be great but now you're just meh.
I am new at building a website so I have had a little bit of a learning curve. I like the HostGator web builder. It is fairly easy to use. However, I did have a problem with the HostGator Editor not letting me upload images from my computer. I called customer support and they resolved my problem right away.

You change the packages without notifying us and change the terms that were agreed upon in the first contract. Also, customer service has become bad, not like it was before. It was better customer service and technical support.
I had the Baby Plan package for 5 years. One of its terms was that it contained an unlimited number of domains. Then suddenly this feature was canceled and the package space was reduced from 100 GB to 20 GB without considering or caring about the importance of the sites that I have, and that I had previously planned according to my capabilities. Finance, then suddenly you ruined my plan
I had a website that was transferred, and they just billed me for a website they haven't had in over 2 years! No notice they were going to do it, otherwise I would have addressed it. Seriously mad right now!

Customer service rep was helpful in resolving my issue. I had called a few times and had gotten no results. Then in the last call, the agent was able to fully resolve my issue.
The website certificate keeps expiring approx. Every 2 months. I'm running an Angular app which is a single-page application and every time the certificate gets updated the.htaccess breaks. It breaks by throwing a server error when user refreshes the page.

I checked out other webhosts and so far this is the best webhost I've used. Easy to use dashboard/control panel, and my website had accessibility issues only once in the 15 years of using the service. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.
New look and feel developed by tech geeks without deference to user experience. Control panel hard to get to. Consider giving up cute look for functionality. And of course with HORRIBLE tech support...

Answer: If you go straight to smartchat, it is very easy - you only need to find the smartchat button. I have worked with the Internet since web browsers were invented, so I know most of the answers already. That means that when I have a problem that I can't solve, it is going to be a real stinker for HostGator support to solve - I only bring them the difficult ones. Recently, I had an ISP who gave me terrible service, and the internet kept dropping out every few minutes. The Hostgator smartchat expert kept contact with me on and of for about an hour and three quarters until he had worked out the answer for me. That is what I call RELIABLE service.
