Excellent service. I've been using their food delivery services for quite some time now, and I've forgotten what it's like to cook by myself.)

My husband and I live in a small rural country town, the nearest major shopping (grocery stores, fast food) is over an hour away. We usually drive into town twice a month, to stock up on groceries and necessities.
But it's hard to keep perishables fresh, long enough to use before they go bad. We have come to depend on canned, boxed and frozen foods.
So, our meals have become stale, boring and routine.
Home Chef revived us: fresh ingredients, new cuisines, great recipes, great meat and vegetable choices, and we live within delivery!

This company is a dream of bachelor like me. They don't make to wait long time for the delivery and all the meals are fresh and still warm when delivered. Thanks for the good service.

Delicious! We have loved everything we've tried. This service has helped me try recipes I might otherwise pass on since you receive only the amount of ingredients you need for the recipe you are making. You don't wind up with left over items you won't use before they're outdated. Love it.

I had used Home Chef in the past but this new program, Fresh and Easy with no cleanup, and meals I can prep in 5 minutes, this is by far the best. I was afraid the convenience would lack in tasty, but no. THANK YOU to the chefs who have worked so hard to come up with 2 serving recipes that can easily be put together and healthy as well. I LOVE THIS!

We haven't had a bad meal yet, with everything from steak to vegetarian meals. As far as price goes, I urge people to add up the tIme spent shopping for groceries, hauling them home, putting them away, and then making time for cooking.

How much is your time worth? How much do you value more free time?

Plus, there's no waste, no weird, yucky, and unrecognizable food hiding in the bottom of the vegetable drawer or stuck in a container in the back of the fridge. Home chef works for our budget and our lifestyle.

I have enjoyed 3 separate shipments from HC thus far and I have zero complaints. Everything is fresh, labeled and delicious. I love the binder to hold the recipe cards, and the meals really do taste as good as they look. I've loved expanding my horizons with different oils, seasonings and ingredients. Used some pickled ginger today in a shredded carrot, asparagus and pear salad. Who would have thought?! I really am learning a lot and having fun acting like I made this on my own, lol Haven't been disappointed yet!!

We've been using Home Chef for almost six months now and love the service.
Compared to similar offers Home Chef meals are the fastest with the least pans and pots required to prepare the meals, easy clean up.
Ingredients have always been fresh. Even at outside temperatures of 90 degrees plus the food stays cool sitting outside all day. Recently they improved the meat packaging after we had leakage problems a few times in the past.
We did encounter missing items twice but it was minor things that we were able to substitute. We also received a credit from their customer service.
I wish the folder that comes with the first order was bigger. We like to keep the recipes and use them whenever we need a simple side dish.

Home Chef, without a doubt, has to be the best in quality! We have NEVER had a meal that wasnt great taste, easy to prepare and all produce is very fresh. It is the best decision Ive had in a year. My husband loves all the dinners weve had!
I would recommend everyone to try it, and if not happy with it you can always drop it!

I found that Home Chef is different than all those other food delivery services out there. You can actually pick out items that you'd like to avoid due to preferences or allergies, such as pork, soy, red meat, gluten or dairy. And, the big one for me, you can set preferences for low-calorie or low-carb meals! That is not an option with their competitors. I'm sold on Home Chef!

I am an empty nester, middle age woman who has always cooked with fresh ingredients and from scratch. Since I have become single and an empty nester, I have found it was more tedious to cook this way for just myself. When I purchase all the ingredients for dishes it is more than I can consume and half would end up in the garbage. I ended up eating simple foods and visiting the deli too much. Whoever thought of this is a genius! I am now cooking foods that I enjoy and there is no waste. So, I have to take just a minute to rave about our menu delivery service, Home Chef. The food is so good, inventive, and healthy, and I get SO excited every Friday waiting for the box to arrive and the new menu choices to be posted. It's wonderful to be back in the kitchen, cooking from scratch every night, and we really enjoy the food. It is such a weird, cool feeling to walk into the grocery store and not need a single thing for dinner. We just get our cat food and milk and done - our grocery bill has actually gone down since we started the service, and we waste almost no food now! Seriously, I freaking LOVE it, and I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone who's curious or on the fence about subscribing.

I had wanted to try one of those meal delivery services that I've been hearing so much about. But which one? There are SO MANY OF THEM out there now. I looked into different ones, and then went with Homechef. What I felt set them apart was that you can choose from up to 15 different meal options each week. Choices like vegetarian, soy-free, nut-free, low carb and even gluten free options. This made them stand out to me. The wide array of dishes allow you to try out recipes that you may not otherwise have checked out. I got my first box last week and all the ingredients were there, the recipes were easy to follow, and the food came out DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!

The food we have been getting from HomeChef is delicious!! Every meal has been perfect and it has been expanding my boyfriends vegetable horizons with the flavorful unique side dishes they supply. It really couldn't be easier and I totally enjoy cooking and plating it all. It's fun, easy and delicious!

I have tried almost all of them and I can say without any hesitation that HomeChef is the very best service available. Once I found HomeChef I cancelled our other service (there were 6 different ones over the past year). Reason being because of the amazing flavors of every singe item that is in the meal and the ease of the recipes. Plus, there is much less prep than the other services. I have been with them about 5 months now and have not had one repeat. The entree is always amazing as are the side dishes. Vegetables are so extraordinary that even the pickiest eater will devour them. I absolutely detest brussel sprouts, but have ate both side dishes that included them. The quality of meat and vegetable are the type of quality available to restaurants, not what we can buy in a typical grocery store. The meat melts in your mouth, even fish taste freshly caught. The sauces you prepare are to die for and only something you are use to in a fine dining restaurant experience. I feel like a professional chef, with all the tips and tricks I've learned. You get a nice notebook on your first order so you can keep the beautiful step by step directions on a beautifully photographed 8X10 glossy paper. I have a gorgeous cookbook with all our favorite recipes (which has been all but 5 so far) in this notebook. I have no idea what it would cost to purchase this type of recipe book of 5 star recipes, and they just keep coming! I can never really tell you how much we love this and while I am picky, my Husband may be the pickiest person I know and we both look forward to every single meal! We have not tired of it yet, and after a few months of the others, we did. Thee are only two of us at home now and this service is so reasonable that I am saving over $50 a week on groceries and eating better than we ever have before. It is the best decision I have ever made to switch to this service, it is a no brainer and I recommend HomeChef without any hesitation!

I have used Home Chef for 4 months with no problem at all. The meals are excellent, always ingredients fresh, servings are hearty and meats, seafood and chicken always top notch! I live on the West Coast and delivery has never been a problem for me. I recommend Home Chef!

I've been using home chef for a little over 2 months and I wish I'd joined this food delivery movement earlier. It makes my chaotic life a little less chaotic, without having that daunting task of thinking about what I'll be cooking for dinner. If you throw in some of your own ingredients such as more chicken, it will stretch out to take just enough for work for a light lunch. I did a budget report to see if home chef would be the better decision, and now I find myself going to the grocery store MUCH less than I used to. It's saving me time and money, AND cooking extraordinary meals, if I do say so myselfmy husband is also a huge fan!!

I love cooking and trying new recipes but hate meal planning and grocery shopping! I am so glad I gave Home Chef a try! It is definitely not a cost effective option to feed a family of 4 everyday. However, I have been getting 2-3 meals a week with just 2 servings. I plan home chef nights to replace date nights my husband and I would have normally went out to dinner. With 2 teenagers, there are at least 2-3 nights they are not around for dinner anyway. I love being able to come home from work and not have to think about what's for dinner. It's been fun trying new ingredients and have even discovered we like brussel sprouts! (A veggie I always thought I didn't like!) I tried another meal delivery service but found Home Chef to have more menu choices to choose from, simpler recipes and less messy prep. They are not lacking in flavor or quality though! The ingredients are always fresh. Sometimes the recipes seem simple, however they always deliver in flavor. We have not had a recipe we have not enjoyed. I have been ordering since the first of the year and plan to continue. I like being able to schedule 5 weeks in advanced and the flexibility of changing the number of servings and/or number of meals from week to week. I have referred 4 friends who have also ordered and enjoy it. Tonight we had a restaurant quality steak dinner for $20. Cheaper than dining out and I get the satisfaction of cooking without all the planning! Customer service has always been very quick to respond and answer questions. Thank you Home Chef for making cooking enjoyable (and doable) again!

My wife of fifty some odd years and several even years was an excellent cook before illness and the treatment thereof destroyed parts of her mind.

She can still tell jokes you will get three hours later but some things escape her and following directions is one. Cooking is another.

As expected, when I suggested a meal delivery service I expected an argument, I did it anyway.

The box came. She looked at it like I had invited a beautiful redhead (she was a beautiful redhead) into the house.

She examined and delivered very thoughtful if scathing comments on each part of the delivery. Maybe I've made a mistake.

I showed her the menus and asked to be her cook as she would be the chef to bring these meals to life.

She agreed, reluctantly.

I brought out the pots and pans I cleaned and chopped, I asked if this was right, I did it again 'till it was right. I controlled the heat she the time.

By the time we plated I was home free, she knew it was her meal, they just supplied the ingredients I supplied the grunt work. She was the chef.

It tasted wonderful as has the several meals we have had since.
