The prices and hubby came are very good. Their representatives and their website have one thing in common, they are both terrible. Somebody needs to teach anybody at this company how to put up a website. The search engine on this website is incredibly awful. If you tried to use the search engine on this website boy do I feel sari for you. You cannot find any products using their search tool. And then if you contact one of their representatives over the live chat to try and find something all you will find misinformed, uneducated representatives. They will push to sell you something and when it shows up in is not what you wanted you will spend hours dealing with customer service trying to get your money back. You will get your money back, but it will take 3 weeks or longer. In the headaches and frustration you will encounter over those 3 weeks dealing with resubmission of the same forms over and over and over again it definitely is not worth the money you save. Sometimes it is just amazing the company can stay in business with the way they do business and how poorly they treat their customers and the absolute lack of respect they show their customers, will just amaze you. I guess when you are making enough money you do not have to show any respect to the people that are paying you and giving you their money. But I personally find it hard to have any compassion for somebody who looks down her nose at the people who give you their money in return for a service or product that you feel is beneath you to give the customers what they are paying for.

Shipping of items is a long and painful process and follow-up support is non-existent with support tickets being closed when they're not resolved.

I ordered a plane that said it was in stock at all 3 warehouses i ordered from westcoast i then got an email saying that it wasnt in stock i didnt email back but had live chat with costumer service and was told there was a mixup and was "assured " (their exact words) that it will ship within 3 business days few days later i get an email saying that they havent heard from me what do i want to do get refund or wait till back in stock or bonus points so after several emails back and forth i got upset and asked for money back now i have to dispute with paypal to get money back because they stallin makin me wait to get money from my experince i would never use hobbyking again. Dont do it.

UPDATE. Since I started a dispute with PayPal HobbyKing offered to send me a replacement at no charge to me, but "only if I close PayPal dispute" so I did (what a fool I was!). As soon as I did so, my replacement offer once again included shipping charges. I will never ever, ever, ever buy a thing from these people, I will much rather pay more than be fu. Ed like this!

Customer service doesn't work at all. If you're unlucky and get a broken piece, you have to pay the shipping cost twice.

Bought Lipo's, Charger and ESC from there UK supplier and everything went great. Got the goods in good time and everything works as it should. No complaints.
The really take you for idiot! STAY AWAY! They never shipped the products I paid for 2 months ago. Already claimed to PayPal! The story is as following: I placed 4 orders of more than 500$. The main one with the RC plane was for 40 days not shipped and waiting to be in stock. They say "it takes no more than 2 weeks" but it took almost 6! They told me many times all items are reserved for you and of course paid 60 days ago. Now is in stock for more than 20 days but they say me the silliest and biggest lie "... shipping in GREECE is suspended". I tripled checked it with DHL, FEDEX, UPS and greek post, They were laughing at me with my "silly" question. The last 5 days they are telling me via livechat (oh god the service there is terrible) that the suspension is for LIPO batteries. But my damned order has NO battery at all! More than 5 live chats (one lasted 3 1/2 hours!), 5 relative email answers where they were telling me all the times about the restriction with LIPO batteries... Suddenly this morning they admitted (because I was very aggressive to my last mail) that now another item of my order is out of stock (2 mini servos) and asked me to cancel the order! They are so idiots! STAY AWAY!
25 day shipping delay and refused to reimbursed for cancelled order they sent. So, I ordered a couple of batteries on hobby king. I paid for 5-7 day shipping. A week after I ordered them, the order was still processing and customer support said they were behind to wait a couple more days. After ten days of the order still processing, I decided to cancel the order since I needed batteries for my skateboard. I cancelled the order and eight days later I got an alert that the order had been shipped. I messaged customer support and they said that for some reason they couldn't cancel the order. They said to just send the order back to get reimbursed. The box came completely beat up but I didn't even open it. I confirmed twice that I would be reimbursed for return shipping since it was their mistake for sending a cancelled order. However, once I confirmed that I had mailed the order back, they refused to reimburse me the $18 that I paid to send back the order they shouldn't have sent in the first place. Bottom line- the order took almost a month to be delivered, they incorrectly sent me a cancelled order and made me pay for it. They are certainly not telling the truth about no hassle returns, it's a mess
Still waiting on my order to ship. Several "Chat's" with customer service which is toally useless. Will not be ordering anything else from them. Spent $500+ dollars and feel like I got ripped off.

I am having a heck of a time with my order that was placed on the 10th. I had one item (6 units) that were JIT. On the 11th, it shows that the items were pulled from the warehouse. On the 14th, it shows that the items were taken off of the truck, but only 5 items were taken off of the truck. My order still says received.
I have spoken with support every day for the past 6 days, and I get the run around. I am told, it will ship out in 24 hours. I was told there's a delay in the big warehouse. This leaves me to believe that no one actually looked into my issue.
I had out this order in within enough time to get to me for a build workshop I was hosting yesterday. I had to cancel the workshop and lost several hundred dollars due to it.
Also, your customer service is well... how can I be politically correct... they suck. I don't know how else to say it. They will not work with me, they will not offer any assistance. I wait forever to get a response from them. Then I get stock answers "your order is expedited, when it ships you'll get an email"
I was on chat with Andy for 55 min without a response from him!
I know stuff happens, but to not offer any help or even reduced shipping costs, or points awarded to make this right is absurd.
You guys have a great thing here, but your CS needs improvement. Recently purchased a rc drift car from hobbyking called the devil. {Aka mission drift}. I put on remaining needed items and went for a test, not 2 minutes into trial run boom there goes a axle {aka the dogbone} now this is where the fun starts, i sent a inquirey about getting warranty replacement. Parts. Wich led to nothing more than me having to explain in detail and take more than 20 pictures with about ten email exchanges where i would send them pics and explain what part i needed and they would just rephrase the same question and request more pictures and say they didnt see problem i had. This is a seven dollar part that they never have in stock because they were made poorly and every car breaks same part basically they just played stupid long enough to make me give up. But really i just fgured thier game after reading some other buyers with same experience. All the same part and results. Sometimes the cheap is far more expensive. All i can say is buyer look at ratings of anything you may want to buy there before you buy. It. At least at hobbyking usa. Buyer Be Ware

Placed my first order with HobbyKing on Oct. 10,2015 and selected only items in stock in their USA East warehouse, hoping for a quick delivery. Checked out and payed $81.57 from my PayPal account. The order status changed to "Printed in Warehouse" after a day, so I though all was good.
After a week, my order status had not changed, so I contacted HobbyKing on Oct. 20,2015 to inquire the status. They told me that two of the items were back ordered. At this time, I asked them to cancel my order. They told me it would take seven business days before they would refund my PayPal payment. I thought that seven business days seems unreasonable.
Today, Oct. 30,2015, I contacted HobbyKing again to inquire on why they still had not refunded my PayPal payment. They checked and told me there was still no warehouse cancellation confirmation. They told me that they re-submitted the cancellation and that it would take another seven business days for my refund. My reply was, "If HobbyKing doesn't refund my payment today, I am going to open a dispute with PayPal". Their response was "We will respect that decision. However, once there is a warehouse confirmation to cancel the order, you have to close the dispute before we can cancel the order and process the refund."
Submitted a PayPal dispute today, Oct. 30,2015 and the dispute was resolved within three hours. I should have submitted the dispute ten days prior when they told me it will take seven business days for a refund.
HobbyKing has lost me as a customer over this horrible service. I will never buy from them and I will tell everyone I know about the horrible experience.

Answer: It all depends on the Bank that you. Plus check on why it took the refund. In fact, the refund is quick from an average of 3-4 days. Actually just given extra time for both the seller and the Bank. And accordingly, if the seller has constant operations on a refund, this has a negative impact on the company's rating for the Bank. Especially if there are disputes between buyer and seller. From my experience, the returns are realized in several ways: 1. On credit card 2. On account on the HobbyKing website. 3. Or product if not reached or was spoiled. Damaged goods was a couple of times, and some of the delivery services. Overall, the problems with the refund arose. Sorry for bad English.

Answer: In all honesty, I think it only means they got your money. That's all they seem to care about. I've been going round and round with them saying my order is complete when in fact they still owe me about 70% of the total order. They refuse to split the order and I'm tired of arguing with them. From some of the other reviews, it sounds like it's their method to start the clock early on the return policy. Regardless of whether you have actually received the item or not, the return policy starts when they say the order is complete.
