Again, Historical Emporium has provided great products and great customer service! Unfortunately it turned out that two of the items we intended to order no longer were available when we called in for assistance with the order. Excellent H.E. Products can go quickly but we are pleased to have received the other two items that were available. We continue to look forward to future Historical Emporium products and sales.

I found Historical Emporium by mistake, but I have purchased many items from them. Never any problems with delivery, size or construction of items.
The jacket was lovely however it did not fit. By the time I paid the postage to purchase then return postage which was even higher, I lost $25 which I could have bought a top somewhere else to suppliment. I would suggest with this particular jacket to add on the info to size up as it obviously looks better with the laces drawn. If you get the size you normally wear, there is no room to draw the laces. The quality was lovely however the money I lost in shipping prohibited me from repurchasing.
I have ordered from Historical Emporium twice now, and each time the products exceeded expectations. Customer service is also absolutely world class. I make my living as a professional costumed tour guide and Historical Emporium is now my first "go to" source whenever I need costuming or accessories of any kind.
You guys were amazing! I had a real time constraint for when I needed the Walking Skirt. When I called, the guy on the phone was so helpful! He explained how the process worked (where the skirt was made and how long it would take to get to me) and then promised to see to it that I received it in a timely fashion. The skirt actually got to me a day before I was expecting it. It's great quality --- the wool has a nice heft to it. The petticoat (minus the hoop) fills it out perfectly.

The Operators were very polite and courteous and helpful. On the downside, the people I talk to we're not into wearing the products that they sell. So there experiential knowledge of the product was nonexistent. (I actually received two different answers from two different people, the second one actually went to the shelves to view the product itself. So they were very helpful and I did get the right answer.) The product reviews from customers who actually wear the clothing were very helpful.
I ordered my blouse online. It came in a timely manner. The Victorian blouse is good quality.
