The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

The site is fairly simple seek and find. I use it all the time.
Bought 15k worth of items in the last 7 days. The buyer fees are pretty high. Be nice of those would be 12-15%
Other than that, its a great platform with great inventory.
Do not purchase from Amaze Deals. First, they charged my account PRIOR to be winning the bid. Second, they did not confirm shipping with me. Third, the packaging was so poor, the machine arrived and does not function properly (see image). There are small dents all around the machine and it does not close all the way.
Woke up early to bid, won two lots, auctioneer extended time by 9 hours, lost both lots. Won't be using platform again.
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear about the frustrating experience. We understand how disappointing it can be when auction times are extended unexpectedly, especially after winning the bids.
Each auction house manages their own auction settings, including time extensions. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer for clarification on the time extension, and if you encounter similar issues in the future, we’re happy to assist you further.
We appreciate you sharing your experience, and we hope your future auctions go more smoothly.
I am a collector of several different kinds of items, knives, coins, sporting equipment and I love these auctions.
During the first five lots my screen froze and I was unable to increase my bids or do anything else. I don't know if was my computer or the bidding site that was at fault.
Attempted to increase bid amount when outbid but system would not activate further bids. Was able to watch other's bids but I could not get my bids to process. Frustrated as I could watch other bidders win the items and I could not participate
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with registering and placing bids. We understand how frustrating it must have been to watch others bid while you were unable to participate.
We’re glad to hear you received assistance with registration, but we sincerely apologize for the lack of follow-up. If you continue to face any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll ensure you get the support you need.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we hope your future experiences are much smoother.
I was supposed to get an invoice for payment, which didn't happen. The charges were simply on my credit card without notice. I have not been contacted by anyone about how to transfer the property to my possession. There is no way to have immediate contact with hibid that I can see
Thank you for your feedback, William. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. It sounds like this issue may have been specific to the auctioneer's process. HiBid does not send invoices directly, as they are managed by the auctioneer. If you haven't received any communication, we recommend reaching out directly to the auctioneer via the contact information provided on the auction page. If you're still having trouble, you can contact HiBid support at 844-775-4774, and we'll do our best to assist in facilitating communication.
Very easy to navigate to a lot different auctions across North America. When asking questions about the various items and auction house rules. The email feature direct to the auctioneer was pretty awesome.
I enjoyed the bid process and the extension of someone bids late and extends the auction on that one item
Very much enjoyed the experience
2 different bids came down to last minute and froze so I could not increase my bid, so I lost both items. A carved wooden picture frame and stife hedgehog
Site was easy to navigate. The bidding process was smooth. Commercial liquidators were great to work with. Overall great experience and received items for a substantial savings.
The items I originally looked at bid out of range quickly but I discovered other items at a great bargain.
I just started using Hibid and I am hooked! The ease of learning how to win auctions, get items shipped, and the overall presentation is great!
While trying to bid on an item something locked up and couldn't bid. I had to exit the site and return by then it was too late?
I have gotten some great pieces on this site to add to my antique collection! Somewhere great deals! Its fun just seeing what things end up selling for.
Used many times for both business's. Never a problem. Payment options need upgraded to make sure transactions are safe and secure.
I used the app on my Iphone. It gets a little quirky with the top title bar moves down over the items that I want to bid on. It kept giving me error messages while i was bidding also. It also had issues going to the live bid screen and i lost out on an item. I know i should have bid early but kind of enjoy the last second increases. I was going to switch to the web page version but didnt want to lose time signing back in and searching for the item.
Thank you for your detailed feedback, Anthony. We’re sorry to hear you experienced issues with the app—especially during those key bidding moments.
For a smoother experience, you might try using a mobile browser like Safari or Google Chrome instead of the app. The mobile web version often provides more stability, especially when moving between auction pages or bidding screens. We understand the excitement of those last-second bids and definitely want you to have the best chance possible.
If you continue to have trouble or need assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team at (844) 775-4774—we’re happy to help.
Thanks again for your input, and best of luck in your future auctions!
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re truly sorry to hear about the issues with Amaze Deals. We understand how frustrating it can be when charges are processed before a win is confirmed, and when packaging and item condition don’t meet expectations.
Since each auction house manages its own sales and shipping, we recommend reaching out to Amaze Deals directly to address these concerns. If you’re unable to get a response, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to assist.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we hope your future experiences are more positive.
