The only complaint I have with the HiBid process is actually trying to view the pictures within the listing. It is difficult to open and/or scroll through the pictures and it seems like half the time, the buttons for doing so, do not work or you have to select them several times before they will. This has been the case on every auction I have bid on and makes it very time consuming and frustrating.

Hibid is easy to search for auctions, Items, or items I am watching. Bidding is fast and easy. The total bid amount at the top is nice, but when my wife sees how much I have spent I sometimes I wish I could hide the total. Overall a great site. I have used others and this is, by far, the best.

I like HI Bid over all. The buyers premium to me is a bit odd, it's all done on a computer, so an 18% adder to me is a bit much. Sometimes the UPS stores that an auction house will use do not seem to be in any hurry to get the items shipped out. I am not in a hurry to get my items, but 10-14 days seems a bit too long to me.

There is a wide variety of items to bid on and it's easy to bid. There is usually an auction within driving distance most weeks. Always interesting. Sometimes early bids hold all week and buy the item. Sometimes bid change rapidly in the last few minutes. Never the same.

I have enjoyed going to live auctions for many years, and had a large collection of antiques. Over the past several years I have started using online auction services. I like using this service as it is multiple auctions in any place you may be in at any given time. Mostly, I love searching for things I can use at a lower price than buying from a store. Apparently somewhere on Hibid, sellers can leave feedback about the buyers. I apparently have some negative notes. When I tried to address/see them there is NOWHERE for me to go, and Hibid couldn't help get the information. Other auctioneers can see them but not me. I admit to occasionally forgetting I have a bid but I always try to pay and usually offer to compensate for the inconvenience. This is wrong, cause the auction houses are denying registering for auction based on this information, that I can't see or address. I will not use a company that is spreading such negative information about me. Makes me fill like I need a lawyer.
