Using the live bid process was easy 7ae & follow along with. Really couldn't suggest any enhancements on Hibid side of operations. Would prefer sellers side be required to put in a minimum criteria description of products sold. A model # and picture solely does not garner confidence on bidding. Less said equals less value in my opinion.

I have been bidding on Hibid for few years now I still like the concept and the excitement of bidding and winning the items but my days may be coming to an end. The reason is simple, "The Cost of Doing Business". As an online bidder in Eastern Ontario I require shipping most of the time. Driving for pickup is occasionally possible and even a nice outing. Unfortunately the increases in buyer premiums and the very high cost of delivery is just too expensive, so much so that I sometimes pay more for buyer's premiums and tax plus high cost delivery than I pay for purchases. I sometimes get charged $40 to $60 for small light weight items. Many auction houses now charge packing fees before shipping that can be flat rates of $20 or more. That's my rant and prices will only go up.

Bidding was very simple and user friendly. I was surprised how reasonable the items are!
The only issue I had was bidding in a Fire Pitt Table I saw it come up and it was going going!
So I bid on it and won! The problem was I read the description later on and it was only the Fire Table
"Shell"
WTH!
They say no returns but the other two things I bought were so cheap I just absorbed the cost
I told them I didn't want the Fire Pitt SHELL! When I picked up my items
It's kind of crazy you have such a short time to get your items. But the two young guys who helped me at the warehouse were very nice and pleasant!
The warehouse is easy to find and it wasn't that busy
Overall, the process was a good one
Buyer Beware! Read the full Description before bidding!
And make sure you can meet that short window to pick up the items you purchase
I recommend them! I will bid again!
