I have bought many bras from HerRoom in the past and have been pleased by their selection. I recently bought three bras of the same style and size. The first two were perfect, so the next day I clip the tag off and put it on. The underwire is gouging out of the bra by an inch. OK, defective bra. It happens. I don't blame HerRoom for that.
After contacting them and emailing a picture of the defective bra to exchange for a good one they asked one question, "Is the sales tag still attached?" The moment I said I clipped the sales tag off, which I still had, they would not exchange it or help in any way because that is their return policy. I understand if I just didn't like it, but it is defective. I emailed customer service again and was told multiple times that there was nothing they could do because I took their sales tag off. It's not like they can resell the defective bra, so why does it matter?
It matters because they created a policy that gets them out of standing behind the products that they sell without doing the right thing for the customer. Buy from HerRoom at your own risk because they aren't going to help you if there are any problems with their products.

Given that we sell intimate apparel, it's important that our inventory remains pristine. We therefore do have a very thoughtful inspection process to insure returns meet this standard. Answer: Hello Sally - if you just want a smaller band size while keeping your same cup volume, move from a 36H(D5) to a 34I(D6). The problem, however, is that this bra does not have a larger cup size in this style. I therefore would not suggest this bra for you.
