Uodate: I ended up initiating a charge back through my credit card company. I suggest others to consider do the same, especially those who never received or received incomplete/wrong orders.
Bought an xl bong as an Xmas gift. I had the insurance and that was a breeze to deal with, however the 2nd arrived with a crack as well, albeit considerably less badly of one, apparently insurance doesn't transfer to the new shipment and I emailed within an hour, if not less of the delivery to notify them if the damage, customer service told me because it was "still intact" they'd give me a $15 credit or I could return the item at my expense and they'd ship me yet another one, but offered no explanation when I asked what would be done if that one would come damaged as well, they also said they'd give me an additional $30 credit if I still had the badly damaged one to ship back as well. I'd tossed that one but I found that an odd request that threw up some red flags.
This was a gift for a friend, it being damaged at all wasn't acceptable. Will never make a purchase from hemper again.
I ordered a total of $100 worth of products from their website and only received half. Over a week l have sent more than one emails and haven't even heard back. So I have no package, no reassurance, and I'm out $50. Use any other website before this one.
We order a bong. At the price we paid ($150 CAD) we hoped to have a quality bong. No. It arrived broken and I never got a response to the email sent two weeks ago. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Worst company I have dealt with.
I ordered 2 products for $92 total. Was informed they could not ship them and was given a store credit instead. I told them I didn't request credit and want my money back. They sent me cheap freebies and now say over and over products are shipping soon. All lies to keep my money.
Canceled my monthly subscription and then was billed for the next month. I immediately emailed their customer support and asked why I was being billed and asked to be refunded. They argued that my wording wasn't clear enough to cancel my subscription. Seriously!? It was only after I went to the bank and disputed the charge I got my refund.
My bong arrived on may 24th smashed to pieces. I had ordered the wish ball bong box and when I emailed the "support" team for a refund they told me 7 business days. 14 days later still no refund so I emailed again they told me they where going to contact protect + that took another 3 days and I was told then it's been approved ect and it would take 1-3 business days again and still to this day June 14th I have not gotten my refund. This place is a scam and I suggest if your going to order subscription boxes or bongs go to CANNABOX! HEMPER IS A SCAM AND THEY WONT REFUND YOU IF YOUR STUFF ARRIVES SMASHED!
Bought a battery and within a month the threading came loose. I bought 2 more and the second one arrived with the threading loose. I tried to talk to customer service which had 59 hoops to go through to finally get to route who said I was out of my insurance window. Hemper pretty much told me that if their product is defective on arrival, they hold absolutely no liability. The fact that I had to send at least 4 emails repeatedly asking WHO DO I SPEAK TO ABOUT MY CLAIM IF NOT YOU and them refusing to tell me who what or why just really speaks volumes. I have officially wasted 80$ on unusable batteries.
Hemper worked really well for the first month i was using it, my orders arrived within a week of ordering them and they always had things in stock. But now the quality has dropped significantly. Im seeing product that is out of stock and my current order has been in the void for two weeks now, and to make it worse Hemper has not responded to me except for an automated message. I will not shop at Hemper again.
Ordered 2 times. Should have waited to create that second order. First time I was sent a completely fifteenth brand of vape from what not only what I had ordered but in a completely different brand box. I ordered a cbd vape but dunno WHATs in the vape that came as THEY DON'T EVEN SELL THE PRODUCT WHICH THEY SENT ME. SO that's trash cuz they won't even respond. Ordered a few (i can't remember how many its been that long) cbd pre rolls "twisted hemp" brand. Order created may 29 2022. It's July 7th today and as per the tracking on THEIR website it says it was ready June 15th. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT YET NOR HAS IT BEEN SHIPPED. DAYS IS STILL IN LAS VEGAS. I'm so angry I could scream.
I ordered merch a month ago and still have yet to receive it. But for so reason there month box I ordered after the four pieces came within a week. I did reach out and got a repose but in that response I got a little jab thrown at me. Because they did a bogo a month and a half back I ordered four bongs one of my orders for my friend didn't even go on my account but they sure did clear her money really quick (I've never seen my money clear befor my items ship btw) didn't even go on my profile but I use honey and they had coupons so of course I use my coupons code on there because who wouldn't? About 20 days of thier "business days" past I reach out they apologized and sad it was because of inventory. I responded with that's fine I'll wait for my item but then the next email hit "here's a five percent off coupon this will not work on any BOGO sales" you know it might be default to say that but it was so oddly worded idk but moral of the story if you want crap customer service and super late packages definitely shop here.
First, customer service I did appreciate the chat help, so 5/5 for chat customer service. However, I am SO disappointed in everything else. I never write reviews. I was so excited for my bong to come, it came completely broken and not repairable or smoke able. It was wrapped in ONE small piece of thin styrofoam, the entire beaker was uncovered. It was in a big box, and was thin glass. Honestly embarrassing how it was wrapped, embarrassing they thought it wouldn't break. A 5 year old can tell it would break the way it was wrapped and how thin the glass is (thickness wasn't disclosed on the website) Not only that, but the bong was SOLD OUT when I reached out. So I have to wait 4 business days for a refund. I understand things happen, but this was 100% their fault. On top of that, I waited 7 business days to just receive ANY information about my order. Will never be ordering from there again. Super super disappointing.
I placed my order with hemper over a month ago in March! I got a "shipping confirmation" a week later with a tracking number. I've reached out to their customer service TWICE. The first time they said it would take 15-20 business days to be shipped out. The second time I reached out (after the 20 business days) they said they were having shipping delays due to an "inventory check" and still haven't given me an answer on when I'm going to get my items!
They will steal your money and continue to charge even after you cancel next month's box. They don't respond in a timely manner so now apparently I'm stuck with an ugly product that I don't want. This company should be avoided at all costs.
I purchase a box last summer. The items arrived damaged and I contacted their support. After sending them about a dozen picture of the broken item, the nearly refused to send me a fixed piece. It took about 2 months (with the extra route protection) for them to finally send me a replacement.
Then I mistakenly ordered another box. It's been over 5+ weeks since I paid and I still don't have the box. They claim it was shipped and the postal carrier lost it and to check with them, but refuse to send me the tracking to make sure they're not lying. The tracking was not on their site or the route protection that I paid extra for. After 3 weeks of my constantly asking for updates, I finally got a real answer. The box wasn't even shipped. They just lied thru their teeth (like I knew they were) and when they said everything was shipped. They shipping label was created a whole month after my order. It's been over a week since the label was created and the box still hasn't left their warehouse. I've been asking for a refund for the past 3 weeks and they refuse to give me back my money and they refuse to send me the items I paid for. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They're liars and thieves.
Wow, I finally got my box in the middle of February, except it wasn't the wish box, it was the February gamers box with the wish bong. But the pieces were packed by a small child or someone with no common sense, so the bong arrived complete shattered. And of course i contacted Hemper and still no replacement or refund. They stopped answering me again - even tho I provided pictures AND had route shipping protection.
So I got broken piece 6 weeks after I ordered and the rest of the items are wrong. Bait and switched me like a mf.
You guys had my old stolen debit card on file that was canceled I got a email stating that my order would be shipt out for a auto 3 month I forgot about I emailed you guys to cancel it numerous times and still no reply! And somehow you guys charged my current card when I don't even have that card on my profile! Disputing this crap with my bank horrible customer service basically no customer service.
Customer service sucked, when trying to get a hold of them it always took 3 to 7 days to get back, by the time they do get back it is. Always to late. I have made an order in April and I have still not received the product that was paid in full for. I have sent an message regarding the order a couple of weeks ago and nobody has yet gotten back to me. Through the products are good the customer service made me decide to stop my subscription, and I wouldn't recommend the subscription but just ordered product individually. I still haven't received my order and it was places in April.
I paid for 3 monthly subscription boxes. Guess how many i have to show for it... 1! Guess how many they sent to the wrong address that wasn't even remotely close to my address and verified delivered at wrong adress, 3! What a joke, they must be testing their products a little too much. They eventually stopped replying to my emails as if im the crazy one even when i only gave them one address (the correct one) then they sent a subscription box to the same person to 4 different addresses. So they still owe me around $60-70 and they deleted my account so i cant review on their page.
First off my order took forever to get - when it came I was less than happy with the quality of the items so I went to the site and posted an honest review - at least I thought I did - I got an email response offering me 15% off my next purchase (spoiler alert: there will be no next purchase) but they didn't post my review - If you look at their website there are very few reviews posted with 3 stars or less - avoid this site
Do not buy from Hemper! Their customer service is horrendous, with rude and condescending staff. My package I received was missing an item so I emailed them hoping they could simply re-send the missing item. First they asked me to send pictures of my package (understandable) then asked to look in the bubble wrap (as if I hadn't already) to see if i missed it. It seemed like they didn't believe me. Then they said the would "throw me a discount code" to re-order the missing item. As if they were doing me a favor. The code didn't even cover the entire cost. Why should I have to pick up the pieces and pay again for their mistake? I don't think asking them to just send the missing item is asking too much. Not to mention they take weeks to reply to emails. You are better off shopping locally.
