Emailed HelloTech to schedule an appointment for help setting up a new computer. After some back & forth, a time was agreed on & a technician was assigned. One minute later I received a cancellation notice with no explanation. Wasn't sure if that was for the initial time slot. After emailing them, turns out their system has a provision for cancellation that is easy for the customer to trigger by mistake. Doubt that since I only opened the email. The $25 fee will be counted as price of using this company despite bad reviews.
Britten did an absolutely outstanding job measuring and adjusting and measuring more to get our TV exactly perfect. He was friendly, gracious, polite, and professional. I'm pretty picky and was very pleased with his fantastic work.

I have so many wonderful things to say about Lamont, I don't know where to start. He was extremely knowledgeable about the service he provided. He was on time, professional, called me ahead of time, so he could come prepared with the correct supplies, he was pleasant to chat with, worked very fast and cleaned up after the job was completed. The television mount works perfect and looks great. I would definitely recommend calling him!
I have had the WORSE experience with HELLO TECH - They are charging me $19.99 per month for a service I never authorized - I strongly suggest if you decide to use this company record your own call -- Their business practices are NOT honorable -- Use at your own risk - Best Buy - the Geeks are the way to go

This company is terrible I have had 3 different appointments and techs. 0 out of 3 showed. When you contact them they will give you the run around and ask you to keep giving them a new time slot, only to not show again. They are a joke in the chattanooga, tn area. And have the nerve to say they provide same day service

Our HelloTech Tech Bernard was FAST! He had everything he needed, listened allowed me to show him where our Logitech Circleview Doorbell Camera needed to be installed and existing doorbell transformer were located, and immediately started the installation. Finished hardware installation in ~ 15 minutes, He then assisted me in adding our new Logitech Circleview Doorbell Camera to Apple HomeKit on my iPad Pro and verified it was working properly including doorbell chime. AMAZING!
Out tech explained to us the options of putting up the mount.
Unlike the other assigned tech who was a no call o show, Dalton called me to let me know he finished at another job early to see if the appt could be pushed up. He was very friendly and communicated what he was doing and the estimated time it would take to do the install. He made everything was level and perfect prior to packing up & leaving.
This tech showed up on time, was knowledgeable, fast and got the job done! It's rare these days so I really appreciated it.
Zynobia was the best technician we have ever had! She was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and took her time with all of our questions. She is a HUGE asset to Hellotech, so I hope she gets a large Christmas bonus for all she did to help us and representing your company. She drove a long way to get to us, and she was delightful! I was very excited when I discovered HelloTech. A quick, responsive, technologically capable repair and support service for everything tech. But I was quickly disappointed. I had to wait weeks to schedule my first appointment. My tech arrived several hours late. He wasn't able to fix the problem with my remote. So I cancelled my service. Or so I thought. The auto renew notices kept coming month after month, even though I was no longer using the service. When I received my most recent auto renew notice, I went on line to cancel. Spent fifteen minutes trying to discover where I could cancel. Entering "Cancel" into their search engine produced no results. I finally saw a chat pop up and talked with a bot for a few minutes before they brought on (ostensibly) a live human, who took about five minutes to resolve my problem and cancel my auto renew. She also explained how I could have done it myself, which was a set of convoluted steps. Whoever runs your customer service operations could learn a lot from reading Carmine Gallos books (especially The Apple Experience; The Innovation Secrets of Steve Jobs). On paper, Hello Tech could be a GREAT service. But you need to get the engineering of your customer experience right. What are you trying to sell? I would think, delighted and happy long term relationships, while reducing anxiety amongst your customer base.
Dominic was very friendly, fast, and efficient in hanging our TV. He made sure that we were satisfied with the placement and that the TV worked before we left. Overall very satisfied with his service!

I was a bit unsure due to past reviews, but my tech was very nice and calm guy; recommended the perfect height at which tv should be mounted and installed the TV and attached wires without a problem. I also had a wood panelling so it wasn't straightforward finding studs; he had no problem with that.
Erick did a great job installing my tv mounts. He was very polite and thorough.I'd highly recommend him to anyone.
Answer: Don't use hellotech. They can not be trusted. They overcharge. They lie. They are a rip off.
