I must have filled out some sort of silly online survey because then, I start getting these calls fro a "health advocate." When asked what kind of training or credentials the caller had, he got quite defensive. I clearly stated that I was a retired health care professional. I asked pertinent questions and he did not know the answer to any of them and continued to defend his line of questioning and his opporistional dialogue on the phone. He told me that no one had every asked these questions! I told him, "let the consumer beware." He said that because I was a health care professional, I was talking to him in a demeaning manner. If he would have just listened and then clearly state, "I KNOW NOTHING" then that would have been acceptable. I told him his approach and responses were highly sketchy and to go and get training and an education in some other line of work because he is working for a fraudulent company. He then wanted to argue about that! All in all, this company is a SCAM. P.s. He kept asking, "but you have pain, dont you"
After a couple of weeks of declining calls I got a text asking me for a better time to talk. When you're been in years of pain you'll try anything. Now that I've had my free consultation, I wished I hadn't done this. I don't want them using my information to scam my insurance. Need some place to report this
For everyone out there, i have been in health care for over 17 years. Please before you see any doctor, go to the States Medical Board website and you can verify the doctor's license, and see if any complaints were made against them. You can all the doctors in your state, or any where else, to see if they have restrictions put on their license for any reason.
Just an FYI for those who DONT KNOW THIS INFORMATION.
It's going well already in just the first week of treatment. Courtesy, knowledge and convenient promptness on the part of healthright is very good as well
This company helped me when I felt like I had run out of options. While I see a lot of negative reviews of this company, it seems more of them are out of ignorance than anything else. Of course they are going to ask you about your insurance coverage! They used my insurance to cover ALL of my expenses and provide me with a treatment that actually works, which is far more than I can say for my PCP! ANY doctor you use is going to ask you for your insurance coverage information! However, I was not charged a single penny, and I could care less what my insurance company was charged, as that is what my insurance is there for - to cover my medical needs.
As far as people complaining about what they sent them, they were VERY transparent with me as far as what they intended to prescribe me and why. They sent me treatment for my back pain, migraines, and even sent me a topical treatment for my scars that worked wonders. I never thought I would be able to get rid of my surgical scars. While I still have some scarring, it is substantially less than when I started using their creams. They gave me treatment options I had no idea existed, and it seems my PCP didn't know either, as after years of my PCP doing practically nothing for me, this company helped me in less than a week!
To all those who are whining on here about them asking for your insurance information, you should be ashamed of yourselves. This company helped me, and like ANY company, they need to make money. Their physicians and other staff need to make money like any other company, and they don't do so off of us, but off of our insurance. Personally, I see this company as a blessing and have nothing but positive things to say about them and feel blessed to have found them.
My doctor was not available and i wanted a prescription to help with a rash. Your doctors helped me get a prescription and gave me advice on how to address it. Fast and easy. Thanks
Deceptive ads are a menace. This makes people not want to use the internet. Ruin it for everyone. We need to have an auto filter for this type of advertising. All they want is your insurance money. No wonder we are paying outrageous health care premiums. Insurance companies don't care if they do this they just up the billing to everyone.
They are trying to put our PAIN MANAGEMENT PROVIDERS OUT OF BUSINESS. ALSODUE TO LAW CHANGED THEY WILL MAKE YOU GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL BASIC TREATMENT FROM 5-15 YEARS AGO AND START YOU OUT AS BACK TO BASICS BUT THIS HAS been TRIED BY CHRONIC PAIN PATIENTS already. So THEY ARE DISHONEST AND EXPECT MORE TO COME. WE NEED TO FILE CRIMINAL MISCIEF CHARGES AGAINST NOT ONLY THEM BUT OTHERS ALSO. PLEASE DONT TAKE AWAY FROM US THAT HAS TAKEN SEVERAL YEARS TO FINALLY FEEL BETTER. BLAME THE COLLEGE STUDENT OF A POLITICAL LEADER WHY CHRONIC PAIN PTS TRULY ARE SUFFERING NOW. IT WAS AN ADDICTED DAUGHTER/SON WHO OD WHY WE ARE FORCED TO SUFFER NOW.
All they want is your insurance information so they can make fraudulent claims. There's no free consultation unless you surrender your info. They denied me the "free" consultation unless I gave them my insurance info, even though I said over and over again that I didn't want any prescriptions.
Texts with no company name given, phone messages with no name or company name given, can we say "scam"? When I texted back, I was told the name of the company. But the only responses I got to my texted questions were "blah blah your recent request for information on pain control when can we call you?" Why did I respond? Curiosity as to where they got my info. I was just diagnosed with a very painful condition, and I wanted to find out who leaked, or was it coincidence. Total scam, actually. The confirmation came when they texted me using the name of my late partner. Wow. Two scams for the price of one? Health insurance and seance, because my partner has been dead for more than four years.
All they want is to send you that Lidocane Cream and bill your insurance. I can't find out how to keep them from billing my insurance. I think my insurance might have told them the medication is not covered because after it was prescribed I never got the medication or heard from them again.
As others have said, did the interview and then told would have consult with doctor. Next day received email stating I HAD the consult and the "doctor" determined I needed prescribed medication. SIX OF THEM to be exact. Out of the six, 4 of them contained ingredients I was HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO. So much so I stated it 4 times during the interview and had them read it back to me. Needless to say, I cancelled EVERYTHING and called my BCBSNC to alert them of fraud. One of the medications, Doxepin topical, is an antidepressant, for itching, and I SPECIFICALLY MADE A POINT OF TELLING THE INTERVIEWER I COULD TAKE ZERO TYPES OF ANTIDEPRESSANTS, 4 TIMES. If ANY of this stuff shows up at my door, I will be filing complaints with the Attorney General of both Florida and North Carolina and a malpractice case against the doctor that prescribed these prescriptions.
They say they are with your insurance company... they are NOT... they will call you 3-4 times a day... DO NOT give them any information of any kind... thankfully they don't have my new insurance name...
I signed up for a free trial of a new pain drug. Next thin you know there sending me Lidocaine cream! I told the lady I didn't sign up for this. She said the trial you signed up for is not affiliated with us. They will get a hold of you. That's been over a month ago. Still, haven't heard from them. I told them do not send me the Lidocane! I called them back and had the put a note in their system saying I did not want the stuff. Next day I get a call saying there sending me the stuff. I had to call and raise Hell! They eventually did cancel my order. MAJOR SCAM! These people should be Prosecuted!
I called in and paid 35$ for an "electronic consult" and the doctors response was to "go see a doctor". No refund. And second opinion was another 35$. Not going to happen. LOL. Why would I call in and pay for a doctor to tell me to see a doctor? Duh. Clearly I couldn't get into my specialist for two weeks. Don't waste your money!
They tell you they can prescribe up to and including hydrocodone. This is a bait and switch. I've been taking oxycodone for years but was willing to come down to see if it helped (I hate pills). They prescribed lidocaine cream. Now when I have a flare up, I can't walk. I called and they told me they can't prescribe ANY narcotics. They wanted to give me a vitamin and lidocaine cream. A total waste of time.
I'm not sure how they got my name and number but I surely never requested information on chronic pain from them or anyone else. They called and texted me 6 times in 4 hours.
Rec'd text at 10:30 PM. How did they get my number? This is probably a "pill mill" and should be investigated by the FDA. I'm reporting them to the local authorities.
Violate telemarking rules using a pre-recorded survey, their system is not robust enough to verify accurate information (they do not require email verifications to online survey data entered), and they do not accurately know what is HIPAA protected information and what is not.
This company started texting my 12 year old son out of the blue, offering pain relief advise. And they knew his name! Funny how they wont answer my texts asking where they got his info. DISGUSTING!
Answer: Send them a Cease and Desist letter, contact your insurance company and tell them you don't want this company to be allowed to send meds to you anymore, they should be able to Flag the company on your plan
Answer: Same here. I am following their process and will see where it leads. Dont know how they generate revenue as a business, though they seem to charge $35/$50 for doctor chat/consultations. But that not sure how that can sustain a business. They could get kick-backs or referral fees from drug companies. I seem to think I can opt out if it gets sketchy. As you can I see I am doing some research/investigating.

Hi Shelby,
The physicians that service HealthRight customers are licensed to practice medicine in the state that the patient resides during the time of consultation. For example, if a patient lives in California but is visiting family in Colorado and needs to be treated for a sinus infection, the patient would be routed to a physician licensed to practice medicine in Colorado.
We currently have 5 physicians that are licensed to practice medicine in Arizona. If you'd like more information about their credentials, please contact us via email at support.nurses@healthright.com and one of care staff members will be more than happy to assist you.
