They hide 1 star reviews if the doctor pays them for advertising.
I had a bad experience with a doctor. I posted a short description of my experience with no profanity. I just posted the facts. Healthgrades told me that my review did not follow the guidelines so it was rejected but I was allowed to vote a negative 1 star review but my experience with the doctor is hidden from the public.
Don't believe ALL the positive reviews of a doctor. Obviously they protect some doctors who pay for their services.
I have been a victim of this rating system. A disgruntled employee entered the poorest rating on all aspects even scheduling, office staff, etc which my partners got top 5 ratings. I got a one rating that skewed all additional comments. How can a consumer know there is one crank review and two good ones. They average out poorly. Needless to say the system can be gamed. Mds can send in reviews via family and friends and come up with perfect five scores. Who even knows how to use site. If fair, every patient should be asked to complete a survey after a visit to the MD. I was horrified to see my score based on 3 reviews after receiving excellence awards within my hospital. I reviewed other MD reviews who got straight fives... all excellent. I question the reliability and reproducibility of this data and caution individuals from placing weight on this arbitrary and potentially manipulated reviews. It is a crime
Healthgrades allows false anonymous reviews to be posted. When contacted and presented with the facts, they refuse to remove the false review; however, then Healthgrades contacts you on how to improve your negative rating for a fee! Practitioners do not request to have their office listed on Healthgrades, yet this company allows anonymous reviews without factual investigation to the posts.
This website is the most unauthentic thing I have seen in a long time. They feed into promoting bad press and try to create more business. Really do they even confirm if the person posting the comments was seen by the provider. I am not sure why they have not been sued for slander so far. I am a big proponent of feedback and improvement of practice and I think the Health insurance companies are best suited to take a sample of visits and grade the physician. The reviews are generally made by disgruntled and drug seeking patients, and there may be handful of genuine reviews at best.
Lisa Moroz refused to focus on what was going on in the present, instead fixated on stuff that happened decades ago that she doesn't understand to incorrectly label me weird and dangerous with pseudo science because she's a paranoid man hater. Healthgrades refuses to let me review her.
I wrote a positive review on a phyisician I have been seeing for several years. I was told the review would be up in 48 hours. It never went up despite my contacting the site to ask why. I will no longer use this resource to evaluate doctors. I do not trust it.
It took me over a year to find a doctor who would come to my home. When I finally located Dr. Devang Patel, I found a smart and compassionate human being that literally saved my life. By recognizing my symptoms I went to the hospital. I was told that if I had waited any longer I wouldve not made it. Thank you Dr. Patel.
Have been wanting to write this review for some time about my Endocrinologist, Dr. Lisa Moore. I have been in her care ever since I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, about 7years. In my opinion, she is an excellent doctor. She is sensitive to my condition and needs and has always looked out for my best interests. I feel that she really cares and has become my doctor friend.

Dr Joseph Ricotta performed a difficult procedure on my 99% clogged carotid artery. I am an 85 year old male and extremely grateful that Dr Ricotta was highly recommended to me by my cardiologist. Many surgeons would have been reluctant to attempt this risky surgery because of the high percentage of plaque. He is pleasant and explained the TCAR procedure thoroughly. He is a pioneer on this method. I will be back on the tennis courts in about a month. Max Tuchman

Dr. Shah, Provides exceptional level of compassion and surgical expertise.
Very happy with the care I received. It's good to have a health care professional you can trust.
Dr. Ginsburg is the best as far as I'm concerned. He has done more for my face than I every though possible. I''ve had botox, fillers, skin tightening, and laser treatments. They made me look and feel so much better, and is something I plan to continue.
Dr. Kazi Hassan implanted a neuro stimulator in my lower back to relieve crippling back pain. After 40 years of therapy, back braces and traction, I now have zero pain. I am able to stand up straight, walk without resting or leaning on a cart. I can ride my lawn mower, do housework and I have my life back. He truly cares that you are receiving pain relief using what is best for you. Don't put it off. Make an appointment with Dr. Kazi Hassan today!
My recent experience with my trigger finger surgery was very positive, in particular with my surgeon, Richard Bernstein, M. D. from The Orthopaedic Group. He was efficient, comforting, informative and kind. So far, it's only 1 week post op, but I feel like it's all a success, still recovering. If I were to need any future surgery, I would go there, and use Dr. Bernstein with no hesitation. He's a very talented skilled man, and that's what you want and need when dealing with your hand, in my case, my master hand.
The doctor has been great with my tooth/gum care. His team worked diligently with my dental insurance for a recent procedure to ensure it was covered. He has even been willing to twice squeeze visiting relatives into a busy schedule over the last year. Front office very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!
I want to recommend Dr. Richard Thunder, orthopedic surgeon. He repaired my L3, L4 and
Everything went very smoothly. Dr. Thunder is very low key and direct. He answers all your

Orthopedic needs

Dr. Marta I. Rendon, MD Dermatology in Boca Raton, FL is what every person that lives in this state needs for great skin care. We're the lucky ones to have her here in Boca Raton. I've been with her for ten years and she's taken more than just a doctor patient interest in me. She is never in a hurry, checks you over really well with no feelings of being uncomfortable. Gives you samples for what's she's treated and answers any questions you may have. I've been a beach goer for over fifty years and my skin looks at least ten years younger than it should because I have a Dr. that knows what she's doing. Thanks to this great lady who has done her job so very well. Her staff is also very caring and the office is a work of art. I highly recommend Dr. Rendon, do something really nice for yourself and make an appointment to go and see her.
Healthgrades allows anyone to launch a personal attack on any doctor and they will post false reviews as long as the person has a valid email address. They will not allow doctors to respond to negative reviews. Instead, they advise you to get more patients to post positive reviews so that patients are forced to give their email addresses to them for their use. Don't bother trying to contact them because it's almost impossible to talk to anyone in charge. They basically don't care and feed on negative reviews to generate more business for themselves.
I am a doctor and I got a call about "fixing" my reputation on healthgrades.com and was offered several packages ranging from $300-$1000 dollars to make myself appear highly rated and to "make the bad reviews go away" Anyone can put a snarky review about you without even being your patient and then the internet mafia needs to help you fix you problem. This should be illegal!
Answer: I don't know. I suspect that if the physician really is offended and wants to do something about it. I'm not a lawyer but I know truth is an absolute defense in a liable suit. G
Answer: Healthgrades.com is a scam. Their information is totally incorrect. I have been a licensed therapist for years, and they publish my name (without my consent, of course) with the title of Intern. They also publish names of colleagues I have worked with over the years who retired or quit long, long ago! Do not use them as a resource for anything. Jill Margaret Hoffman, LMFT, California
Answer: Yes! I have this same question! It's frustrating that you can't see all of the reviews. I hope someone answers your question!
Answer: No. My experience with orthognathic surgery.
