Upset because after ordering a set of LED headlights for my car, & contacting them for some sort of instructions on how to wire the lamps for my application. What they replied was" you are good to go".
It did say on the web that 2 splices would need to be made. Headlight Experts could not provide any kind of instruction, wiring diagram, color code table for the car, absolutely no help at all, or direction on what to splice. I am converting an old HID system to LED. I then made contact again, and was informed that I could send them back. Instructions were to mark my order number on the package as a return authorization, send them best way, and processing would happen when got them back.
So after a trip to the USPS, $9.00 trackable post charge, returned them. I got an email with a credit less -$25.00 for processing fee. Never was this mentioned, does not appear on the website or advised in any way. I thought I was dealing with someone reputable & surely have not been. I am sure they are one of many an on line reseller that has no clue as to the proper fitment of the units & has no business selling automotive products of any kind. Certainly not as advertised on the web. The reviews rave about the great service, and the after sale. None of that is true, so stay away.

Business run by a little man "*" too inept to run a legitimate company, that he resorts to shipping out garbage parts that resemble lights but do not fit or function. Just be warned it will not be until after the sale and you receive some funky looking plastic garbage in a plain brown box with no names or instructions you realize you've been scammed like the rest of us. Emailing them will only get you frustration insults and lies that they will send you another part. They will have you wait weeks then months before you realize there is nothing they intend to send. They simply want to delay long enough to make matters more difficult to dispute with your credit card company. If you've been scammed already, as I was, contact your credit card company immediately and Report them to the California Department of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. Don't stop there, get the word out by every online resource so others won't fall victim. I'm asking the Better Business Bureau to investigate a series of what I believe to be illegitimate positive reviews likely posted by their own people. Just read the so-called five star reviews on BBB, they are most certainly all bogus.

My pair of Headlight Experts H1 LED have failed three times. The lifetime warranty requires the failed lights be mailed back before replacements are returned, leaving the van with no lights:-(
Headlight Experts claims their H1 LEDs are compatible with my 2017 RAM Promaster but the website doesn't say that their bulbs must be glued in place, a real pain since they fail so often.

I've now found Openglass.com sells a more reliable, plug and play, set that require no glue

This company you want to steer clear from. No accountability for defective equipment. Right away ended up with issues. Been over three months with dealing these people. Even purchased their power Relay Harness. Completely useless. Terrible service. Won't even send out a new ballast. Ordered replacement ballasts from Amazon.

Lights did not fit or work after installing. They flashed and then went out. I attempting to call the tech, they told me to try again, and after not working and uninstalling again, I had to call another time, which they requested I take a video with them installed. I sent them the video of them not working, and then my lights working with other lights I had to purchase as it was not a user error. They reported they would send me an adaptor, but a month later I requested about the adaptor, and they want me to call a tech again. They will not refund or accept a return as they were installed, whether it was just to prove that they were ineffective.
HORRIBLE, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I am not an expert, so I went to the Headlight Experts to purchase replacement LEDs for my 1979 Blazer. Their product configurator was easy to use, and I ordered each of the recommended pairs of bulbs for my Blazer. Everything seemed easy and straightforward. This is where things went way off the rails.
1 - There are no instructions; no identification on the packages of bulbs; no identification on the bulbs themselves. Eventually I was able to figure it out (2 hours of trying) to get them installed. I was told by Headlight Experts 'Your Installer will know where they go'.

2 - Their configurator is wrong. I ended up with 6 bulbs extra. ($150 worth of unneeded bulbs)

3 - Their configurator is wrong again. I received 2 bulbs that didn't fit anywhere

4 - Their configuration is wrong again. I received 4 bulbs that were the wrong base / wrong size for the application

5 - I received 1 defective, amber turn signal light bulb. Asked to return when I called and was hung up on.

6 - After several calls and emails, 'Paul' emailed me back. Said to call in and ask for him so we could talk through it.

7 - Called and asked for Paul and was immediately treated extremely rudely. I think asking for Paul is a signal to ditch the customer as they are likely seeking a return.

8 - Called and asked for Paul again, was told he wasn't available. I asked how to reach him and they said call back in an hour. I called back in an hour and they said he wasn't available and to call back in an hour. I started to ask if there was anyone else I could speak with and was hung up on mid-sentence

9 - Called and asked for Paul again (next day), and same exact thing happened. Not avail / call back / hang up on call mid-sentence

10 - I emailed Paul asking for return of the 8 bulbs. Waiting on answer.

Do not believe what their website states as guaranteed fit for your vehicle. Their customer service is the worst in the industry and they called the tech who attempted to install the bulbs I purchased as a novice and a liar. Beware dealing with this company as they do not stand behind their products.

I had a shipping error and they would not even let me talk when I called. They talked over me, were very argumentative and would not answer any questions. No assistance whatsoever in remedying a misdelivered package.

This company a scam and a joke with the worst customer service I order my headlights got the wrong one called the company gave my order number were I was told I f up up they don't make mistakes and got told to pull up I give you 10k if you can prove we are wrong. Hung up on multiple times and kept saying I f up when I asked for a refund. This company is trash the people who work for it are trash reported to the bbb due to their customer service lack of care and lack of wanting to help do yourself a favor and use anybody else but them I personally switch to lasfit used them before told them about this experience with headlights experts said no worries if anything wrong call us and we will fix it, unlock headlights experts that just says I'm harassing them for asking for a refund and telling me to go f myself again highly recommend not wasting your money nor time with this scam of a company I rated one star because that was the lowest I could rate I would have gave negative 5 stars if that was an option so headlight experts don't take that one star as positive because it not you clowns

They advertise as "Direct Fit With No Modifications necessary" Their lights require modifications and they will not offer a full refund. They will claim you are an amateur and don't know how to properly install them. DO NOT BUY!

I confirmed with them three times the year, make, and model of my car and that they were sending the correct item. It took weeks to arrive. Finally when it did, turned out not to fit my car as was confirmed by my mechanic. Sent it back and they still refuse to give me a refund. Do not recommend.

Wrong product sent and no responsibility taken by the company. I should have read BBB reviews about the guys (seems like a 1 man show) inability to speak to another human.

I bought a led head light kit and the product did not work with my truck and the company didn't stand behind their product. I even tried a module that they insured would make my lights work and it made them worse. After that the company would not stand behind their 100% guarantee even after I had to spend more money on a module they insisted I needed. Would not recommend this company and their products.

I received a headlight set that would not work and the refused to take it back citing their policy on no returns if opened. These are the most dishonest rude company I have ever dealt with. See BBB complaints on this company wish I had checked before wasting my money. STAY FAR AWAY

Wow, What an experience. They first told me to delete my review before they would refund my shipping. I paid for UPS 2 Day, and they sent it USPS; lol so much cheaper, and I kept the rest of the money. Then, to top it off, they mailed me the wrong car product. Kia Forte 2019 With Halogen lights requires 9005 Lights for low beams. They send people H7, which are high beams, and the low beams for the high beams. But when you ask them to correct the issue, what do they do? It requires you to pay for the shipping even to get it there. So I called Paypal because I did not want to settle for shipping, so Paypal is delivering for the shipping, thank god. Because this was over 100 dollars, what am I supposed to get back? Am I supposed to reach only half of the money? Stay away from this company. You will get screwed over. When you write a review, also get ready to show proof they will act like they don't know you and dispute it. So I am putting my receipt on here so they can't pretend I am not an actual customer that got screwed over.

Great upgrade to the stock halogen lights. Plug and play was really easy to install. Lights are positioned well and aren't like those lights that you see in your rear vision mirror. Positioned low toward the road and bright! Build quality of the led was great aswell worth the purchase!

I bought a set of H7 headlights for my Mercedes sprinter van. The website said they were compatible. I received them and they were not. I sent an email and they said "You need these adapters" so I ordered those. They were good enough to share a video of how to use the adapters. That was wrong anf didn't apply to my product.

Then, the adapter broke. A "manager" called me. He said "yea, those adapters are hard to use on that van, you should buy this other brand"

Then they wouldn't refund the cost of their adapters that didn't work and broke.

Not experts, at anything.

I bought a set of LED's from them recently to replace my HID's in my Lexus and they did not fit properly. They were no help in resolving the problem. Fortunately for me I have built several custom cars so I had the knowledge and expirience to make them work.

I order LED headlights from headlight experts. Beware They are a scam! They are not experts, far from it. They will send you anything. Good luck getting your money back. Better off taking your cances on ebay and craigslist
