Unfortunately my car rear bumper got scratched during transport. It may not be hawaiicartransport problem but they should insure that no damage occurs when shipping out the product.
My vehicle was handled and shipped with the great service we all expect by Matson. Hawaii Car Transport us only the interface; L4 Logistics company is behind them, and Matson does the shipping.
The interface is convenient, and for that HCT is good.
But the bottom line is with Matson, and they are great.
Was notified that the batter was dead, after delivery it was not disconnected and was let in the on position. Also there are new scratches and damage to front fairing. Wull know more after its cleaned fron all the dirt that was on it. Not happy i have to go buy a battery and get a new fairing.
The car was supposed to be ready for pickup on the 11th of November. It didn't get there until the 20th. From the time they picked the car up until it was delivered took a month. There was also some damage to the front bumper. They said they would cover the cost of fixing it, but it is just that much more time without the car.
Recieved car with a few extra scratches on the front headlights.
Also the process of talking to the representive on the phone was a complete JOKE...
They were based in New York and here i am in Hawaii asking them questions about my car in Hawaii.
Would have liked to deal or talked to someone who was based here in Hawaii who knew about the registration laws, drop off area and more about the time changes.
I never write reviews, but if I could give this company less than 1 star trust me I would! There was ZERO communication along the way, starting from when and how to drop off my cars (I was shipping 2 cars from Hawaii to Colorado). Once I completed the booking online and received the initial email, there was no instructions on how to drop my cars off and I made 2 trips to the other side of the island before being to accomplish this seemingly simple task. We had to pay $200 for each car to be stored there before shipping since I couldn't drop it off on the exact day, even though they say "flexible drop off" - it's not. It was a SUPER shady experience dropping my cars off in this fenced lot with a trailer as an "office", but there we were - their employee with a clipboard, a pen and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Over the next 3 weeks, I tried multiple times to call HCT and email them to see how I would know when my cars would be delivered. I also emailed PASHA and it was them who told me I would be contacted once my car was unloaded in California and a carrier was selected. Late Friday afternoon I received an email stating that the estimated delivery would be Monday - no other information was provided. I immediately tried calling HCT, I tried emailing, I tried contacting the carrier service that was assigned, anything I could think of to find out when my cars would be delivered. Keep in mind, I scheduled "port to door" service and believed my cars would be delivered to my door. Fast forward to 9:30 Monday morning and I get a call from the carrier service saying that I needed to meet his driver at noon at a location 20 miles from my house. I had to scrounge at the last minute to figure out how to get there with 2 other drivers in order to pick up my cars. This all could have been avoided with communication on their part. No one answers the phone with HCT, they don't respond to emails, their online chat is not a thing and the "live tracking" just takes you to a stats of what you already know. Do NOT use this company. Ship directly with PASHA, find someone else - use anyone but Hawaii Car Transport!
Super easy drop-off. Tracking was nice. E-mail and phone call to let me know it had arrived. Way simpler of an experience than I expected. Thank you. Highly recommend to anyone who asks.

Got an instant quote, was contacted by a rep within 24 hours to answer any questions I had and booked the next day. So far, an easy experience. Plus they have the best rates on island.
Very timely responses, fair pricing. The estimated car arrival date in Hawaii from Florida is less than 3 weeks! I really hope that will be the reality!
There was a delay in getting my car on the boat and was not notified right away and never got an explanation as to why. I would use them again but know that the delivery date is an estimate only.
It would be good if you provide a better map of the Oakland dock area to get to 1425 Maritime Blvd. I took BART to Oakland City Center and then a taxi from there. Even though I had printed out a Google map, the taxi driver had a hard time finding the address.

Easiest shipping ever, a lot of the reviews say your car will be late, I didn't mind that, I was expecting a wait BUT my car arrived before the estimate time, pretty straight forward process, nice people.
Easy. One of our friends recommended Pasha. I was going to ship with Matson but have known of Pasha for many years. Would be interested to learn about shipping a small pod to Maui, maybe from Oregon.

We found the experience with Hawaii Car Transport to be incredibly easy, all staff were knowledgeable and professional. The directions to both the Honolulu and Oakland Facilities of Horizon Lines were flawless and once we arrived we were driving away within 10 minutes!
I wish you provided me with an estimated arrival date prior to my booking. Was sent all over. My paperwork was lost. No one knew about my order. I would never use this company again.
Hawaii CAR TRANSPORT was terrific. They gave me an automatic online quote. Then they followed up the next day with a phone call. Easy to book and I received my car quickly. The guy delivering my car was efficient and helpful. The only thing that was not helpful was not knowing that when I went to drop off my car at the port in Honolulu I was supposed to drop the car off at Matson- I was expecting to drop off the car at Hawaii Car Transport. Also, Because I didn't know I was looking for Matson, I was a bit lost and when I called, I could not get actual directions to where I was supposed to go because there does not appear to be an office in Hawaii. Other than that, they were much cheaper than the other quote I got by $500!
Extremely satisfied with the entire process (booking, tracking, transit time, customer service).
Drop-off and pick-up was easy-peasy. My vehicle arrived looking just as good as when I dropped it off.
