We had problems contacting the Honolulu office. No one answer and no one called back after messages were left. The did eventually call but it was days later. I did not appreciate that.
Would rather have paid installments rather than pay everything up front before being shipped to insure car satisfaction.
Was assured by 3 associates that I would receive a call to check in with the status of my truck. All 3 times I received no call even after being assured by Pam that she personally placed an inquiry for associates to call me. I decided to call matson directly because I wasnt being contacted by the company and eventually my truck was ready to be picked up. Only after I called, did Hawaii car transport state that the car was ready for pick up. Although I was told that I was going to receive a call saying that my truck was ready for pick up, I never did even after they assured me I was. It seems that this company does not take their customers inquiries seriously and that after receiving payment, they wash their hands clean of any customer-associate interaction. I waited a month for the car to be here and although it may be because of matson's doings, I still was (for the most part) left in the dark for a month about the status of my truck until I personally called them. Very poor customer service.
Shopping experience was great I like how they don't request the money until the date it is required to be at port and the ship date is sooner than any other place.

So far so good. Will be calling rep to follow-up on booking. November 25,2014, I picked up my vehicle from Horizon but not after finding out the night before that my car was ready for pick up on Wednesday the 19th. I checked my landline messages on Tuesday night, November 24th frantic to question why wasn't I contacted on my second contact number, my cell phone, on the 20th, Thursday. I have my phone with me 24/7. Isn't everyone nowadays? I double checked my booking document to make sure my mobile phone was on it. It was! I finally got a hold of Trisha on the 25th. She was very nice but was told that they did not have my cell number. My vehicle sat in the sun/rain for SEVEN days. She was very apologetic and said that she could move it under a tent until I picked it up. Hawaii Car Transport did not pay attention to detail!
My experience so far has been great. Cost is fair especially when compared to the time it would take me to drive across the country and what my expenses would have been doing that.
My experience was excellent. The agent that helped me was very helpful and courteous. I would highly recommend you to others.

Pickup came a day early which was nice. The advance call to meat transport driver was initially 2 hours our but then time alipped another 2.5 hours. I willbuse this company again.
Couldn't get ahold of customer service, however my vehicle arrived at it's destination ahead of schedule. Pickup was easy. Overall pretty good experience.
Great service and fast as well. Cheapest I was able to find in the short time that I need to find a company to ship my car. Thank you Hawaii Car Transport.
Difficult to get a hold of someone once credit card info is submitted. Also unhappy having to submit credit card info on line after I have already given it to a rep over the phone.
Origination Pickup was good however the estimat d delivery date was off by 4+ days on each vehicle I shipped. A more accurate delivery date would be helpful
Car was in great condition when I received it. Fast service picking it up and Friendly workers at the pick up site. Second time I used them and I will use them again when I move off island!
Matson was a stumbling block and would not release the car to my Son, who was the receiving party on the paperwork. Is was eventully resolved to our satisfaction. Thank you for your good service!
I thought it was odd that they texted & emailed me (the shipper) when the car arrived. Was told they would call my son who was picking up the car, which was noted on the booking.
I had a tight schedule for the car to be picked up - the company worked around this nicely. Driver picked up the car in a rainstorm, yet was courteous and efficient.
The security at the port was rude and disrespectful although you probably aren't responsible for them. Other then that I received great service for the most part.
