Hawaii Car Transport was easy to use. Pick up was very close to my home. The guy was professional and courteous. My vehicle arrived in the time that was promised. My vehicle was dirty when I picked it up (as I expected it to be), but was otherwise undamaged. Pick up was simple and quick. All in all a very good experience and I would use them again
I was two days before I was suppose to have my truck picked that they could not pick it up until a day later. This caused me to have to ask the hotel front desk clerk to assist the guy who was would pick my truck up later the following morning after I had to board a flight for my military PCS. I will not recommend nor will I use this transportation company again!
Besides the guys that dropped off my truck leaving my hood open, everything looks great. No dings when I got it. Understandable that he left the hood open because the e break and hood lever is right next to each other but he could've checked. Other than that everything is A+. Thank you
Everything was perfect until it came to delivery time. The driver set up delivery with less than a one day notice then did not show up. Driver called to set up another delivery time and asked that we meet him at a truck stop, we responded no that the car showed be delivered to the house per the contract. Driver set up delivery for 6:00 AM on a Sunday then doesn't show up until after 8:00AM with no response to my text asking him where he was a little after 6:30AM.
So far so good. I have been pleased with the ability to speak immediately with and agent when I needed to get information.
I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. Everyone I interacted with, from the first phone call to the gentleman waving me out the gate in Kahalui, was cheerful and helpful. I appreciated being kept apprised of the progress of the boat on the way over, and it arrived just when it was supposed to. I highly recommend Hawaii Car Transport. They made the whole process easy.

I submitted a new order/request for February 2nd and received an email but no phone call this time. Hawaii Car Transport is the most reasonable price, so I have decided to move forward (plus you have good reviews).
Quick and easy on drop off and pick up. Much pricier than I would have like, but this could have been due to COVID-19 pandemic impacts on shipping, etc. Car made it from California to Hawaii on time and without damage.
Easy, convenient. However, they did damage my car when I shipped from California to Hawaii (much cosmetic damage) and some minor damage when I shipped back from Hawaii to California. On the first trip, I didn't have money or time to get a quote to fix my car and was unable to submit a claim.
So far the booking part is very easy. Arrival time was as anticipated, and car had no issues/damage. FYI double check paperwork when picking up - I have the wrong paperwork and will have to go back to get correct documents to register my car here but that is not Hawaii Car Transport's fault, COvid 19 chaos created a bit of confusion at pick up.
I had a very difficult time finding where to pick up my car, the address was really not correct and the person who I called at the phone number given to me didnt have a clue. The paperwork was not ready for it when I finally did find out where to go to pick it up.
Drop off was chaos. The person gave me two different times to drop off: Once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. Apparently they receive in the morning because when i got there at 2 they said they were almost done loading and left at 4. They said it would be two extra weeks before they actually shipped! Luckily they were understanding and squeezed it on last minute. Pain in the butt yet pick up was a breeze! My car is in great shape with no extra dings in the side. Yay!
Had difficulty getting through on the phone to the receiving agent (Road One) in San Diego. Left multiple VMs over two days when I didn't get a busy signal; invest in a good receptionist who will answer the phone!
I was told that a price increase would go in effect on Sep 1 but if I placed the order when I did (Aug 21), the old price would be honored. I had this in email. But later, I was told that my contract price increased due to the price change on Sep 1. Since I was already too far committed, I went along with he change
When he van arrived in New Mexico and came off the truck, the battery was dead, really dead, we couldn't re-charge it, and it was a fairly new battery. I had it checked every 3000 miles. I had to use my AAA battery service and buy a new battery.
Apparently, whoever wanted to check the mileage, most likely rolled the switch all the way up to where the inside lights came on. The lights were probably on during transit. But life happens!
Brandon couldn't have been more kind or patient. When I arrived in Hilo, the gentleman who did my paperwork was fast and efficient. I was in my car and driving down the road in minutes. Great service.

I was also impressed with how quick and easy the entire process was. Within 12 hours my reservation was confirmed and my vehicle was picked up and delivered to the dock! I would highly recommend Hawaii Car Transport to anyone looking to ship their vehicle!
When I first contacted your booking agent in November I told him, "I absolutely have to pick up my car no later than January 2nd in the Oakland port, and based on that when do I need to ship it?" I figured I was being clear and leaving plenty of time for transport. Because shipping vehicles is your business, I trusted what he told me and booked with your company, but on January 2nd in Oakland, the port said my car wouldn't be ready to be picked up for several days! In a panic, I contacted your office and the agent explained that the ship arrived in Oakland by January 2nd, but the unloading of the containers of cars takes several days. This situation was not what I had been told by the booking agent, and because of his gross miscalculation in timing, it ended up costing me additional hotel accommodations, train fare, taxi fare and lost productivity. Due to this frustrating and costly experience, I will be using a different transport company for my next vehicle.
My representative Zac Zangle has been awesome, very helpful, and patient. I appreciate his kindness. Through the process so far every time I called with questions or concerns the staff have been very helpful and patient with me. The process has been very easy. Thank You! It has made my moving journey much more easy.
I contacted customer service for an issue when I recieved my car. My car had motor oil all over it when I received it. I emailed the representative and she never contacted me. I called customer service and had to file a claim. Claim personnel didn't follow up until a week after I filed a claim. I send many photos and paperwork noted that it should have been billed due to the oil and Hawaii car transport denied it.
