After reserving and receiving a confirmation email about my initial reservation. I was called back about a week later with a different confirmation ship date. When I asked why, I was told shipments didn't go out on the weekends. Just wondering why wasn't I told that right away? My initial moving plans were made according to that confirmation. But other than that, someone apologized and was very helpful over the phone.
Days before my scheduled pick up, they called me to verify my information and I had told them the day of pick up I had an appointment at 2 so anything after 3 would work fine for pickup. They told me because I would only be gone shortly, the drivers could work around the schedule. The day of pickup, the driver called me around noon asking if he could come pick up my car now. I had told him I've spoken with the company days before saying anything 3 or later would be best and if he can stop by around that time. The driver said he wasn't sure if he would be available then to pick up my car so he would give me a call back if not another driver would pick my car up later that day or the next. Hours had gone by and I've heard nothing and I spent over an hour on hold waiting to get ahold of someone. Even the driver didn't answer my call. Once they answered, the woman told me the driver never said anything to them about not being able to pick up my car and because of that no replacement driver was scheduled to pick up my car at all. She told me she would handle it and would give me a call back. Once again hours pass by and I heard absolutely nothing from anyone so I spent an hour and a half on the phone and reached no one because during my hold time their office closed. So now I have no one scheduled to pick up my car, no one has gotten back to me and I know nothing about anything. I move in 3 days and spent hours trying to find a different car shopping service that was open and would give me a new quote last minute. This is the worst company I've ever worked with they are 100% unreliable and good luck trying to reach their customer service.
Vinny has been checking in with us throughout this moving process and has been very helpful. The young man that picked up our vehicle from our home was very thorough and professional. We would recommend Hawaii Transport to anyone moving their vehicle to Hawaii.
It took almost a month for me to get my vehicle shipped from Hawaii. What should have taken 16 days according to your own website estimates took 21 days from the day of the ship sailing and 26 days from the day I dropped off the car. Very displeased with the lack of communication and your 'transport tracker is BS'.
This will be the second time using your company, I am very happy with everthing the first time so this time should be great as well. I'm due to drop off my truck tomorrow morning, so I expect everything will go just fine but we shall see.
Delivery was delayed, which was no problem, but we attempted to contact the office 6 times to change the name of who was picking up and never received a call back until the delivery day. Shipment was smooth, communication was poor.
All services were as they told us, BUT, they did not contact me to tell me the vehicle had arrived in Maui. I emailed and called them several times without response. When I finally did get someone to answer the phone, they told me that 3 of the 4 days to pick up the car had passed and I needed to pick it up within a day or get charged storage. Now, how can they charge me storage if they never told me the car was ready to pick up and the don't answer the phone or emails?

I've used HCT for shipping and pick-up. The website is user-friendly and booking was a breeze. The confirmation e-mail provided me with all the details/instructions needed to follow prior to drop off. Quick and efficient from the beginning. Affordable prices.
Perfect! I have used your service before and will again in the future. I have had excellent service using email and with phone calls. I have used a competitor in the past, although good not as convenient for servicing my needs and location. I highly recommend Hawaii Car Transport.
The process was pretty simple from start to beginning. The only thing I find negative is the number of calls and emails after requesting a quote. A follow-up email or call is fine but the calls and emails continue even after talking to someone.
They were good, however the quote I received and what I was charged was an additional $300.
Their website provides a "Quote" with no disclaimer stating that it is just really an estimate. As a quotes is a selling price and an estimate is what they believe it might cost.
I was very happy with the entire process especially during this time of a pandemic. The entire Staff was AWESOME and to me seemed that they went out of there way to help me out. Especially the Crew that took my vehicle. They were so professional and extremely courteous.
I felt very comfortable leaving my vehicle with them. I knew that it was in good hands and that they would take care of it as it was their vehicle.

I'm please with Hawaii Car Transport service. The process was smooth and very efficient. I would recommend anyone to use this company. If shipping car from Hawaai to the mainland, be sure that car is washed well. Make sure there is no dirt, mud, grass, seeds, etc... Car should be cleaned well. Inside and exterior. Inside of car should look as though it's a new fresh vehicle. Inspection was the hardest to pass. If you follow the guidelines well, you shouldn't have any problems shipping. Hawaii Car Transport is a reliable company. Highly recommend.
Very Helpful, very patient and willing to work with a tight schedule imposed upon me by employer. Communication between broker and service supplier was lacking, but that's as much due to the service supplier as broker. Overall very satisfied.
Mahalo my friends. Everything was very smooth except for the day of the pick up. I could not get a hold of anyone and just had people I didn't know calling me asking me for my car that wasn't from Hawaii Car Transport. It was confusing. Also, try to give a time frame on the day of when the vehicle will be picked up. I sat around all day until 5:30pm waiting because I wasn't sure when or if my car was for sure being picked up. Overall though - awesome, easy experience.

Initial contacts and booking were very good. The problem I had that made the process stressful and difficult was that I did NOT receive email confirmation that the car was shipped, so did not have a shipping number, vessel name or anticipated delivery date. I called *******695 several times to request shipping confirmation. It was only on the day the car was ready for pickup that I was able to obtain an email with shipping information and confirmation number. Nawiliwili pick up was smooth.
The timeline I was given by HCT was off by more than a week. The truck was shipped and ready a week and a half ahead of schedule. This would have been fine except I had to change previously made flight and lodging plans(for a few hundred dollars), only to find out I could have kept everything for the original dates. There is no clear way to tell the timeline of shipment online, until the transaction is done. Overall, the booking process is very easy, and HCT sets up shipping with Horizon, so you vehicle will be safe in a container and not on deck in the salt air. Overall I'm satisfied with the whole process.
The website was A1. The drop off service was great also. The transport service was not as expected. I suggest maybe using something to wrap and/or protect the car from the elements while being transported. My car was delivered FILTHY. I assume because it rained and the car on top of mine was leaking something but a car cover of some sort may have prevented that. My car had a brand new dent on the trunk that the driver said was there when he got the car but was not there when I dropped the car off.
